Went to Chili Jiao for dinner. We ordered the pan fried chive dumplings (yummy), the veggie spring rolls (also yummy), Kung pao chicken, chicken fried rice, beef fried rice and stir fried noodles with chicken. Overall, the meal was ok. However, the food all seemed very oily. The rice contained corn, carrots and green beans, that were clearly of pre-cut frozen variety. The kung pao chicken was good, we ordered medium spicy and it had a serious kick! The noodles tasted very....smokey, hard to explain. Service was a bit slow. I ordered a Tom Collins and was very disappointed, could not taste gin at all and the drink was too sweet from artificial flavours. My friend and I have been visiting the lounge at Queens Landing 2-3 times a month for the past two years. We are both in the service industry and work close by. Yes, it is a little over priced but we did not mind given the cozy atmosphere and view. This used to be our favourite place to stop by after work however lately we feel the lounge has gone downhill. The service is horrible. We have noticed the last couple visits that the servers do not quality check tables. Not once in our last couple visits did a server ask us how we are enjoying the food/drinks. Last week my friend asked for another drink, and it was never brought to him. Tonight we were one of two tables in the lounge and never asked if we wanted another glass of wine (which we did), never asked how we were doing, and had to eventually flag someone down and ask for the bill (which I hate doing). I can see this happening if the lounge was busy, but when there are two tables and at least 3 servers working this should not be the case. It seems like the service staff do not help each other. We were cleary sitting there for over 10 minutes with empty plates and glasses while other servers walked past back and forth and not offering any assistance to one another. Our last few visits have been less than enjoyable. Thanks to the good weather we could sit outside and enjoy the wonderful view of the vineyard. The service was very nice and very helpful. We ordered three different three-course meals, which were excellent in every respect. We were just as enthusiastic about the wines we ordered. All in all one can be very satisfied with this restaurant, the prices are reasonable in view of the standard of service.

It was my wifeâs birthday and she wanted somewhere different. A Tapas bar seemed to fit that bill. The Restaurant and Tapas bar are at the Strewn Winery. Thereâs also wine, olive oil and balsamic vinegar tasting here. The restaurant offered very different types of meals. The pastas were very filling, Iâm told. I had a goat cheese tart. Served on bed of Bibb Lettuce. Delish!The wife tried a beverage combining white balsamic and soda water. She raved about it. Reservations are suggested.

Our party of two enjoyed a light dinner in the centre seating area of this lounge. Our seating was comfortable with wing chairs and a round table. We ordered the daily special of Churchill burger with salad and iced tea as well as an ancient grains vegetable bowl with salad and peppermint tea. Liquor is available. My husband and I stayed at the Pillar & Post Hotel for 3 nights. We decided to go to Queens Landing - Tiara Restaurant for breakfast. Pillar & Post Hotel, Queens Landing Hotel and the Prince of Wales Hotel are all part of the Vintage Hotels. We liked the idea that Queenâs Landing could electronically add our breakfast bill to the Pillar & Post Hotel where we were staying.We didnât have any reservations booked at Tiara Restaurant, but when we arrived at Tiara Restaurant they immediately took us into the restaurant and seated us at a lovely linen tablecloth covered table for two by the window, overlooking the harbour. A beautiful view for breakfast. Our waitress quickly provided menus and asked if we would like juice, water and coffee or tea. Great service in the first 2 minutes. My husband ordered Poached Eggs on Rye Toast with sausages and fruit instead of breakfast fried potatoes. He agreed that his breakfast was great. Lots of fresh fruit. I ordered the Eggs Florentine with the breakfast fried potatoes. The Eggs Florentine were amazing. The best Eggs Florentine Iâve ever had. Even the breakfast fried potatoes were delicious. Even the coffee was great and they had almond milk and soya milk for me. Extra coffee in the coffee pot. They didnât charge extra for switching breakfast for fruit instead of the breakfast potatoes. Another round of great service from our waitress. Our waitress was able to speak with us, some conversation even though she was busy. Very professional and polite. Our waitress and hostess both provided outstanding service! We enjoy brunch and dinner mostly but there is nothing but great food on their menu.The chef uses local ingredients and prepares everything fresh.The wine pairings are well thought out.Fabulous dining room and the service is always top notch.Highly recommend this venue to all who enjoy fine dining.

Our party of two chose this restaurant as part of our milestone birthday girls getaway. The breakfast package was a room upgrade available with our hotel room at the onsite Prince of Wales Hotel. The menu was inclusive. We chose the Bakery Breakfast, including warm danish and croissants, a selection of preserves, fresh fruit, juice and coffee. Our server was charming and attentive. We were seated at a window table. The view of the park and flowers was beautiful. The chef added a special sweet plate as a birthday treat. All food was fresh and nicely plated. From the prompt return of our reservation request until the final goodbye, service was attentive and friendly. The menu was not extensive but clearly what they do they do well. They strike a nice balance in their seasonings and portions are fair size. We ordered coconut curry,lamb shank and calamari salad, all tasty and well prepared. They know how to do sea food and the freshness certainly came through. With a bottle of reason ably priced Ontario wine it made for a lovely dinner.. Thanks
