There is a shortage of top notch restaurants in Mompox as this sleepy town of 40,000 people only comes really live during famous Easter Procession. Ambrosia has good staff, excellent fruit juices and the menu whilst not particularly imaginative offers all the basics.

. My husband had thin and huge Beef dish with French fries 28000)and it was tender and I had Mediterranean Salad,( 14000)very tasty. Another time with the house pizza, very thin crust and good( 20000). The pina colada were good ( 12000cop). Grace was very friendly and fast service.

I went with my family to have lunch because a neighbor back home recommended this place to us. The place and the decoration is beautiful you can tell from the outside is a fancy restaurant or sort of, but the truth is they can improve; starting from the plates, they were regular food with not so tasty flavor, the presentation was terrible, the bread was regular bread cutted in two, even the salt and the ketchup were in plastic pot/ bags. They have potential, too sad.
