It was closed the first time we tried and alas we did not get there until the end of our trip. Wonderful breakfasts, fruit smoothies, pressed coffee and more. Simply delightful. Usually we just got breakfast items from the local panaderia, which was fine, but Gutierrez was a real and delughtful breakfast! Outside by the beach, too.

I just spend 3 nights in lovely Celestun, and there is no better place to stay overnight then Casa Peon :-) Comfortable bed, spacious room, lovely breakfast...They made me some really good veggie meals (not on the menu, but you can ask them). Great place to hang out as well, with the bar, terrace in- and outside...beautifull wall paintings make the place look welcoming. I especially enjoyed drinking my coffee sitting on the little terrace on the street, in the morning sun :-)

Restaurante Zaxim es un espacio espectacular donde se puede ver el mar verde esmeralda del Golfo de México, la carta es variada, tiene platillos de mar, tipicos yucatecos, internacional y opciones vegetarianas. De noche, el ambiente se transforma en un lugar con luces tenues y romántico.
