We were walking around and looking for lunch place. As this wasn't any chain location, we decided to give a try.Inside it is somewhere between cafe and bar, I liked the Einstein themed decorations.Menu is basic, with salads, sandwiches and so on, most likely partly ready made. Looking at menu, this place could be perfect for the breakfast.We had flammkuchen, which were good, but could have those frozen ones from supermarket and cooked in good oven. They did the trick and hunger was gone.For some unknown reason credit card not accepted, even sticker on the wall.

this is an excellent little beer garden, though not that little. situated close to the city gallerie, this venue is really with nice, with a choice of indoor and outdoor dining, oh and off course drinking, with some very nice German beer. I like it, so give it a try. I will be returning to Aschaffenburg in 3 weeks for an international trainers conference, and I have been advised in advance that our evening entertainment this year will be a night at the Hofgarten, bring it on.

Everytime we spend a period in Aschaffenburg we have to go there for having dinner at Maulaff, more than one time. Little, warm and enchanting German restaurant, managed by the charming lady who is the owner of the local. Delicious, tasty and typical food (we can't say light, of course), generous portions, good food and bier until late in the night, in a relaxing and intimate atmosphere. We can't miss it, we recommend.

We came across the restaurant by chance and were pleasantly surprised. It has been newly renovated by the current owner with very tastefully decor. It keeps the charm of an old pub/restaurant and brings it up to date with fashionable wallpaper and fittings. The food is excellent - I had mash potato with a lamb stew and gravy. Simply delicious. My partner raved about her vegetarian dish. They also serve a local beer from made by a micro brewery, which is also very good. Restaurants in this part of the world often prioritise quantity over quality. Here it is more like the opposite. A main course will not leave you feeling that you never wish to eat again. However, my dish cost under 9 euros so those with a larger appetite should be able to afford a starter and dessert. If this restaurant were in London or New York booking would be essential. Will definitely return again and again.

Couldnât recommend this restaurant highly enough! The atmosphere is relaxed, great background music, the owners and the staff are friendly and made us feel welcome from our very first visit. The food is fantastic and the weekly specials are varied and delicious. The staff are very good at guiding you through the many choices of beer that they have on offer.

Being literally on Main river, with excellent view and position, Pier 18 has all premises for a great experienced. Doubled by really good food, friendly staff and nice atmosphere, this restaurant is a great choice for an evening- regardless if business, romantic or food enjoying one
