This place has the best interior design I've possibly ever seen. It is very cosy and intricate but at the same time very modern. You can literally sit on a swing chair. Food tasted amazingly, really good quality. However, the portions were quite small and be prepared to pay a bit more than your regular Indian/oriental restaurant.

I had visited to london and scotland trip in mid-august with family.We had visited many indian restaurants in london and scotland.out of which 4500 miles was one of the best restaurant.Food quality was really good and had an authentic indian taste. Price was also reasonable.Service was also great staff was really friendly almost felt like we are in india. Overall had a great experience.

Firstly, this isn't like your typical Indian restaurant - the choice of dishes on offer is relatively small and we ended up making a decision based on the least-bad option, rather than anything that sparked our interest. That's a purely subjective assessment, of course - when the food arrived, it was hot and delicious, so we had no regrets at all with our choices. What wasn't so great was the atmosphere - we felt we were being up-sold, persuaded and hurried through the meal - plates were being cleared away while other members of the party were still eating. Prices are on the high end and, looking back on the experience as a whole, we didn't think it was good value for money.

One room of a pub has been converted into the Everest Nepalese on this side street off the Cowley Road. The food is good and authentic. They do a "2 for 1" deal for those who are members of "meerkat meals" - at least for the main course (i.e. excluding rice, naans, starters and puds). Reasonable wine list. Expect to pay about £60 for 2 people with a bottle of wine included. Parking out front is easy.

We discovered Maliksa a while ago when our local restaurant had closed for the day and so glad we did as Mohammad and his friendly team at Malikas serve up what is the best Indian food we have ever tasted.The quantity of the ingredients to the service are second to none. Highly recommend a visit you won't be disappointed.Thank you martin

My boyfriend and I went to eat here, we were almost fighting over who got to have the last bite of the two dishes we were sharing. Excellent fish and prawn dishes, nice starters and very good juicy naan bread. Very good service and friendly waiters. Definitely recommend this place if you like Indian and Nepalese curries!

Ordered 2 main courses and 2 nan breads. I got some sliced onion in a plastic bag, three lamb chops, and one chicken breast and one chicken leg. That was it. No rice, which I specifically asked if I needed to order extra. £26:60. Odd experience.

Was in Oxford for business and looked up this restaurant on Trip Advisor! This is situated near a large car park which is fortunate because parking on the street is horrendous. The car park is pay and display so be warned. The restaurant itself is welcoming and serves very good food. The duck starter is VERY spicy- as it claims on the menu. The naga chilli dishes are also very hot - as it states on the menu. The staff are very helpful and have a relaxed and welcoming manner. Food not overpriced and all in all a lovely tasty meal. Definitely go again if Iâm back in Oxford. A hidden jewel.

Firstly the service and the staff were first class.Momo to start weren't my cup of tea but my wife enjoyed them, bit like soggy dumplings.Chilli paneer was nice but very hot. Our sons king prawn Nepalese dish was excellent, however I got a Nepalese lamb dish and the lamb was very tough.I'd go again but order the king prawn or chicken dishes.
