I went to Cat Ba Island for 4 days. I stayed at the Sea Pearl hotel for those days. I like Philipper bar and coffee. Because, it is located on the ground floor of the hotel. It is a good place to enjoy coffee and lunch. The staff is quite friendly.

Just had dinner at Ganesh. One chicken vindaloo and veg Thali. Very fresh food and great tasting food. Options on spiciness and if you like it hot you must ask for spicy! Garlic naan is huge! Good location on sea front. Very pleasant staff running it.

My boyfriend and I were on an excursion which included an overnight stay on Cat Ba Island. With nothing to do for an afternoon, we wandered down the main street. The birdcages outside this cafe caught my eye - there must have been 30-40 birds in total. Needing a refreshing fruit juice, we took a seat.The owner, Hieu, smiled at us and took our order. It took a little while - I'm not sure but I think he may have gone to get some fresh ingredients from the market. Once they arrived, it was like heaven on earth. The fruit drinks are large, full of flavour, and obviously from the best fruit available. They are also very reasonably priced.The owner promptly provided us with the password for free wifi, and proceeded to sit down and whistle melodies to his birds. After chatting to him a little bit, we found out that he has a great love for birds native to Vietnam. We had to head back to the hotel, but after his reassurance that he'd be open tip 10 or 11pm, we promised to come back. So glad that we did.He wasn't there when we returned, and there was a little confusion with our drink orders. Not knowing what to do (the other staff didn't seem to speak English and we didn't want to cause any embarrassment), the lovely owner returned. We explained to him that our orders were mixed up, and almost wished we hadn't as he was so mortified. When he brought us the right drinks, we struck up conversation, which ended up lasting an hour or two. What a lovely guy! His wife runs a hair salon at the back of the ground floor of the bar, too - so guys can have a drink whilst their girlfriend get hair/nails done. Great idea!All in all, our visit(s) brought us great happiness, and we only wish we'd got Hieu's contact details!! Dear BellaThanks for your interesting assessment. Travelling while being vegetarian could be completed, that makes you happy when finding pure veg restaurant.. this place is nice and have few good options. We had veggie burger, rice with vegetables, lassie and they were really goodThe pizza was less...Still it's nice place to go

Loved it here! People are so kind and welwilling. The pizzaâs are amazing and everybody is trying to make it the night of your live! Not everybody in Vietnam is welwilling but at Napoli they try to give us such an expiercience! They only just started so lets give these guys a try! Food is good, drinks are very good! Love it!!!

Open air cafe with a large menu selection. We went around 1030a.m. and were seated right away. The breakfast was large and the egg coffee of course tasted great. The first time we saw real hashbrowns on the menu around the area and they didn't disappoint.

So happy with the quality of food offered at this restaurant. The staff are friendly and professionl and the atmosphere is nice and chilled.The dood is sensational with fresh spring rolls being top on our list as well as the tastiest big burger i have had in ages.We liked our dinner the first night so we brought friends for the second and were not disappointed. Keep up the good work

We visited for Cat Ba for three days and we for sure visited Little Leaf every day! The food is SO GOOD, portion sizes were huge and the service is amazing! Chocolate cake was delicious, cocktails are cheap and the Bun Cha was my favorite in Vietnam. (Also the pillow shaped dumplings were my boyfriend fave but I don't remember the name of the dish)

My wife and I live in San Francisco, USA and have traveled around the world. We've never seen anyone put so much creativity and artistry into cocktail mixing as Alex -- and they're incredible. The food is also fabulous, and the whole family is delightful. Can't recommend Quiri enough!
