Ja man kommt der Aussicht wegen, aber auch Essen kann man hier wenn man nicht zu viel erwartet, Standardgerichte der österreichischen Küche werden hier ohne viel Ambition serviert, aber dennoch gut essbar, die Kässpätzle nicht schlecht aber anderswo schon deutlich besser gegessen (Gasthaus Egender in Schönenbach z. B.), passt aber nicht mehr...

As a regular visitor to Bregenz I tried this new restaurant with my friends. At first, we had high expectations with the nice interior but it went downhill from there. The waiter had limited knowledge of the menu, the portions are very small and highly priced compared to other restaurants in Bregenz. We ordered a bottle of wine and the wine was put in a wine cooler near to our table but the waiter didnât get the wine to top up our glasses. After finishing our meal, we were not offered a desert menu, coffee or the bill. We struggled to get the attention of the staff despite them not being particularly busy.

We ate here on our last night staying on the campsite on whose grounds this restaurant sits. However it is entirely independent. As with other reviews this was also one of our nicest meals on our German holiday. This restaurant specialises in BBQ with a number of sophisticated smokers and types of BBQs. They also have a full menu of other items including burgers steaks and Pasta . We had a soup of the day a lovely creamy horseradish soup, I had the ribs with a southern US style whiskey sauce and my wife the schnitzel. Service was great again the best on our trip with an attentive waitress for whom nothing was too much trouble, a side of slaw for my ribs not on the menu. Die Hofwirtschaft Ratzenberg ist die logische und leckere Erweiterung des Gesamtkonzeptes Hofgut Ratzenberg. Wir sind schon eine ganze Weile begeisterte Kunden der Hofmetzgerei mit Bio-Fleisch aus eigner Haltung - auch und insbesondere von besonderen Rassen wie Wagyu-Rind; Allgäuer Auerochsen uvm. Die 2018 neu eröffnete Hofwirtschaft bietet leckere regionale Gerichte und für Leckermäulchen aus eigne Kuchen und Torten. Immer wieder finden auch Themenwochen oder Einzelveranstaltungen wie "Valentinsmenu", Brunch oder z.B. Burgerwochen statt. Bei gutem Wetter kann man den Besuch der Hofwirtschaft und einem schönen Plätzchen im Freien z.B. mit dem Rundwanderweg am Hofgut Ratzenberg verbinden und das Hofgut und seine Tiere näher kennenlernen. Wir sind immer wieder begeistert mit wieviel Innovation und Herzblut hier für eine intakte Natur gearbeitet wird. Und das Essen ist auch noch lecker und wird mit gestandener Herzlichkeit serviert. Erstaunlich was das Team aus der einfachen Küche herausholt.
