It is situated at the southeastern foot of Mount Ainos, at about 250 m elevation. Stumbled across this place one afternoon, it's location is at the top of the main drag in Skala, knew it was going to be fab due to almost all the tables were full, decent menu, not overpriced and staff will explain what certain dishes are. Food was fresh and huge portions great for big appetites !!

This Bistro doesn't have the setting of some of the taverna's but it is worth a visit for the quality of the food. You can sit outside and overlook a lovely pool in the quiet Kefalonian countryside. The choice is very good on the menu. We both had Greek starters which were delicious, for mains we had one Greek meal and a steak. The steak was excellent and cooked exactly as requested. Service was attentive and friendly. The prices are on par or slightly above the other tavernas but the food is worth the extra few euros! Lovely house wine too.

Nondescript looking place serving incredible food.A starter of aubergine stuffed with spinach and feta was utterly delicious while mains of spit roast chicken and calves liver were succulent and moreish.The liver was amazing,served with its own cooking juices with some fries and veg and cooked perfectly,literally melt in the mouth.Friendly service, they didn't miss a beat.

The Milos Bar is little off the main street and beach, but we went there because TA reviews. And for ounce we where not disappointed. All the food was really good: from fish plate too baklava. The meal was superb! With no fancy bottles of vine, just with house vine. Also at the end we got free glass of sweet vine. Also the staff was frendly, kind and helpful.

After a few mediocre meals in more expensive tavernas we tried Manolis and were blown away.Tasty salads,politiki and dakos followed by whole grilled/barbequed bass and bream cooked perfectly and with either rice,chips or baked potato sides,clearly not fine dining but proper greek and proper tasty.Service from the family team was charming,efficient and welcoming.Good table layout with enough room for some privacy and the garden part was well lit.We returned and were equally impressed with the whole experience,keftedes and swordfish that time with Malamatima retsina.A taverna with a warm heart.â¤Thank you so much for your review. taverna manolis

We ordered two pork gyros and a mythos in half(note - the beer is quite expensice in comparison to other places, 4â¬!) Gyros was really good, pitta was the best i tries on the island, like your grandma made it for you:) they should put more tzatziki on the whole gyros, not just the tip! Absolutely try! :)

We've stayed on Katelios on numerous occasions but up until now we have never visited Tsobos. After visiting on our latest visit, I am really wondering why! The service was excellent, the food was delivered quickly and most importantly extremely tasty. We had a gyros plate and a sausage plate, both very generous and for 8⬠incredibly good value for money. Yes, we know it's not the healthiest option but it just has to be done! We enjoyed our first visit so much we visited twice during our two week stay. Well worth a visit!
