Odysseus is a purely average Greek restaurant. Neither food nor service or drink reach a level worth mentioning. We had a grilled meat platter and a gyros platter. One dish was served with the wrong sides (fries instead of rice) and the several dishes (we were with two friends) we're not served at the same time.All in all, we would not return for another visit. There are so many Greek place around there that are fare better in any instance than Odysseus.

Ohne Frage 5 Sterne! Wir waren mehrere Wochen in dem zugehörigen Hotel Waldschlössel. Der Biergarten war jeden Tag mehr als gut besucht. Die gemischte Vorspeisenplatte war unschlagbar. Bei den Hauptspeisen hat mich die Lammkeule begeistert. Geschmack fantastisch. Auch die Steaks oder der Fisch sucht seinesgleichen. Erste Wahl in der Gegend.

Stopped here for lunch and wanted to eat outside, but there were no tables with shade. The Mother of the owner was sitting at table under an umbrella and she went inside giving us her table.The waiter was very helpful with the menu. We ordered Sen.Schweineschhnitz and gyros-teller.

Wir waren jetzt schon unzählige Male hier zu Gast. Ich muss leider sagen, das es mir immer weniger gefällt. Es gab nur eine kleine Karte, wegen Feiertage, aber die Preise haben ganz schön angezogen. Die Wartezeit war grenzwertig, wie gesagt die Preise im Verhältnis zu hoch und das Essen jetzt nicht so auÃergewöhnlich. Auch hier ist die Devise, weniger wäre mehr. Das Lokal versucht viele Gäste auf einmal zu bedienen, da bleibt irgendwas auf der Strecke.

We have been here multiple times over the past months and we have been always more than satisfied for both the service and the food. Here you can eat fish, various types of meat, Greek food, etc. We tried different dishes and they were all delicious!!The personnel is also very kind and funny! Highly suggested restaurant.

I was stationed in Heidleberg, Germany with the U.S. Army from 1978-1981. In our first year there, we lived in the small village of Reilingen. During that time, we discovered the Akropolis. We enjoyed it very much and have made a point of returning to it every time that we went back to Germany, 20 to 25 times since we left in 1981. Everything that we have had to eat there has been delicious and the staff is very friendly. We are returning to Germany for three weeks in May of 2013 and certainly plan to have more than one meal at the Akropolis.

Wir waren aufgrund der guten Bewertungen hier essen und freuten uns auf gute griechische Küche.Bedient wurden wir sehr freundlich.Die Vorspeise, gegrillte Peperoni mit geröstetem Brot waren lecker, allerdings sehr ölig und knoblauchlastig. Die Beilagensalate waren auch sehr gut und frisch.Ich hatte mich von der Tageskarte verführen lassen und die Moussaka bestellt , leider. Das war die schlechteste Moussaka die ich je gegessen habe, sie war trocken alles andere als frisch und mit BratensoÃe übergossen, so verlieà ich noch hungrig das Restaurant. Das Gyros meines Sohnes war gut und die gergrillten Fleischvarianten meines Mannes bis auf das Lamm auch okay, wobei mir hier der extreme Grillgeschmack zu sehr im Vordergrund war.Wir werden hier nicht mehr essen gehen!,

Mal ein etwas anderer Grieche, ohne angestaubtes Ambiente. Das Essen war extrem lecker, die Portionen riesig. Wir hatten zu zweit eine groÃe Vorspeisenplatte und jeweils ein Hauptgericht. Wir haben am Tag später noch davon gegessen, so viel war übrig. Sehr gute Qualität, sehr netter Service - dabei aber nicht überteuert.

Four of us went out to dinner in April 2019 on a Saturday night having been unable to book at the Golden Eagle or the Bella Capri. We did book in advance. On a busy weekend in Hockenheim that is absolutely essential.This charming Greek restaurant is family owned and run. It has a lovely atmosphere and everybody there is charming, friendly and helpful.Our waitress/family member spoke really excellent English. That was essential as trying to understand the German take on Greek dishes is, to say the least, pretty difficult.We ended up taking our waitressâ advice and having something akin to a meze with starters and a main course mixed grill and salad in the middle for all of us to pick at. We washed everything down with a red Greek wine (recommended by the waitress). Donât laugh, it was really rather good!On Saturday night the place was packed, not with the visiting racing teams, but with local German families. I think that says a great deal.I highly recommend this place. It is now on my list of restaurants to attend the next time I am at Hockheimring.

An excelkent experience with certain areas restored. We got a guide at the entry gates at 10 euros pp plus entry fee of 16euros including the museum. Worth every cent. Explaining the events and chambers without having to pre book. Must also see the museum in centre of town.
