We were a larger group dining at the restaurant. It is newly opened and has a modern atmosphere. Just outside is a quite large exhibition about the monument and the local history. We tried a couple of different soups for starters (pumpkin, mushroom). For the mains we went for beef, wiener schnitzel, and the goose. The meat was the most appreciated. Service was good. We took a taxi from Minden, about 20 min and 25 Euros. During the more brighter times, the view must be nice. You can also walk up to the monument.

Der Empfang war recht freundlich und wir wurden direkt auf unser Zimmer gebracht. Wir nahmen den "Hintereingang", was uns etwas irritierte, aber nicht weiter schlimm war. Unser Zimmer, Nummer 7, war klein, aber zweckmäÃig eingerichtet. Unser Bad war groà und sauber und schien recht neu zu sein! In den Betten haben wir sehr gut geschlafen. Das Frühstück am Folgetag war in Ordnung. Aufschnitt, Käse, Marmelade, Honig und Nutella wurde auf einem Teller angerichtet serviert, dazu gab es Brötchen und Brot und auf Wunsch Tee.

A rustic German themed restaurant close to the town centre, with a very attractive olde-worlde interior. The menu (also available in English if needed) is extensive and interesting. As you might expect, it has lots of meat and potato based dishes although there are plenty of things on the menu that are suitable for veggies, so don't be put off. And the bratkartoffeln are superb!But a warning for those of a delicate constitution, the portions are very generous!

have been there several times and the food was always great.. the casseroles they create are very innovative and creative and taste delightful.. atmosphere is nice and casual.. if restaurant is full it can get louder.. it is also possible to sit outside in the summer.. nice break from regular restaurant food .. downtown Minden

Zwischen sehr gut und befriedigend.Ich habe hier eine dienstliche Nacht verbracht. Alles vollkommen in Ordnung, die Dame an der Rezeption war sehr aufmerksam, mir wurde sogar noch ohne Frage der Name und Adresse vom Imker gegeben.Restaurant soll sehr gut sein, gegessen habe ich hier aber nicht.

Wir waren hier zu einer Familienfeier im kleinen Kreis eingeladen. Suppe, Antipasti, Hauptgang und Nachspeise waren sehr sehr gut & perfekt zubereitet. Es ist wirklich nur zu empfehlen! Vor allem die Craft Beer Karte ist einen Blick wert. Es sind wohl über 70 Sorten

The hotel is newly renovated. The rooms are nice, clean and offer everything you need.Breakfast is a bit basic, but okRestaurant, we where there with a group of 12, food took too long to serve, long time between first and last dish served.
