Naturfreundhaus is always on our list of stops when we are in town with the bikes.Kids love the playground. Plenty of very cheap and awesome food to go with your Weinschorle.

Nachdem meine Frau und ich mit dem alten Wirtsleuten so unsere Probleme hatten :-) Haben wir nun den neuen Pächtern noch mal eine Chance geben und was soll ich sagen, es lohnt sich.Gutes Essen zu einem guten Preis. Hier wird frisch gekocht und der junge Mann in der Küche versteht sein Handwerk.Das es sich bein Rumpsteak um das falsche Fleisch handelt kann ich absolut nicht bestätigen, ich sage sogar das ich schon lange kein so gutes Steak mehr gegessen hatte.Und dann wird hier auch noch eigenes Bier gebraut, was will man mehr :-) Für alle Freunde der gut bürgerlichen Küche... ganz klar hin gehen.

My wife and I stayed here during a one-day visit to Holiday Park. It was a wonderful splurge, outside our usual budget, but wow was it worth it. Beautiful place, lovely room, gorgeous woodsy grounds to take walks on, and some of the best food we had anywhere during our month-long trip across Europe. Can't wait to come back here some day.

Das Lokal hieà früher ,, Schwanen,, und wird seit ca2 Jahren unter neuem Namen ,,Bistro 1792,, geführt. Eigentlich hatten wir schon längere Zeit vor, dieses Lokal (wir wussten nichts vom Pächterwechsel)noch einmal zu besuchen, da unser letzter Aufenthalt schon Jahre zurück lag, aber leider war das Lokal laut Internet nur abends offen. Umso überraschter waren wir , dass alle Angaben im Internet gar nicht mehr zutrafen. Das Lokal ist auch tagsüber geöffnet an 7 Tagen die Woche. Das Essen ist einfache asiatische (und auch deutsche) Küche, aber sehr schmackhaft und sehr gut angerichtet. Die Portionen sind nicht riesig, aber das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis passt . Das Lokal ist anscheinend komplett vom Vorgänger übernommen und asiatisch aufgepeppt. Deshalb wirkt es etwas einfach. Was uns nicht daran hindert wieder zu kommen, denn das Essen war gut und der Service auch! Ach ja und man kann auch Essen bestellen zum Abholen für ganz eilige.

This delightful place for lunch or dinner. The menu has the local cuisine of Rhineland-Palatinate region of Germany. On a summer day it is a delight to relax in the courtyard where the ambiance is lovely and the service excellent. Don't despair if your German is sub par you will be helped to find just the thing for your taste buds by the attentive staff. We had the regoinal dish- Der PfaÌlzer Teller, mit Bratwurst, LeberknoÌdel und Saumagen, dazu Weinsauerkraut& Bratkartoffeln and great local wein or woi in local dialect! Super yummy! THe real German food you want...or need, this place will not disappoint you! and for the price Wow!

BEST BEST RESTAURANT! Was there in 1989-1991Great wait staff. Especially the young man, and I think his sister. I adored her. Great family restaurant. Will be back in 2014 for a visit and will definitely make this place a priority. Amalfi salad (no onions) know how to speak it. Can't spell it. Lol. Must go!

This restaurant serves local dishes and international cuisine. I particularlyl like their fish dishes but even the meat dishes ans salads are very good. I have been here many times and was never disappointed. Service is very friendly, just at times it can get crowded with many unexpected guests, and then it may get a bit slow.From Spring to early Autumn, their large nice terrace is open, and it is also possible just to stop foir a dring on a bicycle tour. The quality of the food, and unfortunately, also the prices, are above average. They have an excellent selection of local wines, whch do not come cheap, either, as compared with other restarants in the area (ca. 4,70-7,00 ⬠per 0.25l) . But it is worthwhile to come and try it out. The place is sometimes closed to the public because of wedding or birthday parties, and can be busy on Sunday for lunch, so better call ahead. The owners also have a catering business in case you want to hire them for a party..

Location and the patio are fantastic.Been there a few times and the food was terrible. Had to send half of it back.Kids did not like the Pizza.Services wasn't the greatest either.Make sure to bring cash since this is the only payment option like in many of the little places in the area.

Always good, real food. The still make there own sausage and slaughter once a week. Great value for what you pay. It's well known with the locals.Lovely to seat outside in summer...I like everything on the menus , but always start with a Rieslingschorle or a Weizenbier....
