Un locale arredato in stile tedesco con un cuoco italiano. La carta è quella tipica dei ristoranti tradizionali a cui si aggiungono piatti italiani, cucinati per i tedeschi. Porzioni molto abbondanti, grande cortesia.

We were warned the restaurant was a little off the beaten path. We followed our directions from the hotel concierge and with some minor trial and error succeeded in arriving at Baldreit. The décor was very nice and the food was superb. Traditional slow cooked Black Forrest venison and spätzle. The courtyard setting was nice and must be outstanding in full Spring or Summer. The restaurant was a little stuffy from the number of lit candles and air circulation was not helped with the closed windows. While an adventure to find, the Baldreit is worth the journey.

Bei diesem Italiener erhält man nicht nur Pizza und Pasta, dennoch sind wir bei genau diesen Gerichten hängen geblieben. Wir waren bisher 2x in der Alten Schule. Das Essen hat uns jedes Mal gut geschmeckt, lediglich den Pizzateig fanden wir einen Tick zu salzig. Preis-Leistung war stimmig. Vor dem Essen gab es einen Gruà aus der Küche, die Pizzen kamen zügig. Service haben wir 1x sehr freundlich und 1x nicht ganz so (damals hatte eine Reservierung nicht ganz so geklappt, wie geplant) erlebt. Ruhige Lage, einige Parkmöglichkeiten, schöne Terrasse!

What a lovely evening at this fantastic restaurant. I suggest the fish dumplings...the taste was incredible. For dessert we tried the sorbets with alcohol...super!!! The only thing that could be improved on is ventilation. We went there on a very hot day and there were no fans or air conditioning unit so some moments were really unbearable. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

Our hotel restaurant was closed so we came here by chance. This is near the centre of Gernsbach and is a typical local Gasthof with local food freshly cooked. There's nothing special - we had two schnitzels with salad, two beers, two puddings, a coffee and a schnapps, all for 36 euro. Not great food, but good nonetheless.

We stayed in the hotel which is in the same location although not linked.A little uninviting from the outside and had there been any other choice we may not have gone in. However we were very pleased we did!!The food was so good, good choice sourced locally and all cooked freshly to order by the owner chef, his wife was in front of house and she was determined to make our dining experience as good as it could possibly be.Freshly baked bread was soooo good.Our compliments to them and our best wished for their business going forward.Don't pass by you will not be disappointed.

We came for dinner. The restaurant has a traditional Schwarzwald look to it, with old photos and cooking implements on the walls, and the food was to match - a traditional German menu with good local wines. The meat was rather tasteless we felt, but the sauces were good and a vegetarian main course was also good. The portions were generous and the prices very reasonable.

Drive along small serpent-like road, seems to take you middle of forrest.. but then you'll arrive to a small village! Just beside the main road, it is;Wery nice , clean and cosy small hotel. Gasthof Sternen.After check-in your room, wich are clean, and spacious enough with modern bathroom, you might be ready to dinner...You'll be suppreised about the food!Fresh, good looking and great tasting food. Reasonable dish plate size, well worth of money.The waitresses are friendly and wearing traditional Dirndl.

Stayed for the second time with another couple owing to fond memories of hotel and Werner's. This time we booked an arrangement for new year's eve with fine dining at Werner's and another three course meal another day at the Schaenke.Werner's: hotel and all the restaurants were buzzing with people, yet we were very promptly and warmly escorted to our table for four and the chef and host even made time to welcome us in person. We decided in favour of the "accompanying wines" option which that night was EUR 56 and included 7 individual varieties. Except the chardonnay I thought all of them real good matches and really enjoyed them. The food was perfect, delicious, served with great care and well explained by staff that was present when you needed them and otherwise "invisible", just the right way that makes you feel so special a guest. We definitely ate too much and drank too much with of course a bottle of champagne for midnight, and despite the place being so busy was served to perfection both in terms of timing, coolness and quality. Thank you team for making the turn of 2015 into 2016 such a memorable experience. The other restaurant is more rustic, and having dined at Werner's first eating out here twice fell a little short of expectations on the service quality side, not on the food quality side. Menu is rather limited to chose from, the first time the soup was almost cold when served (second time was good) and the waiter admitted he had forgotten about the espresso I had asked for. Choice of wine is good, relation quality to price fair. The second evening despite only have the tables being busy service was so slow that we did not care to order espresso or digestif. So all in I'd say there is room for improvement especially on the service, quality of food generally above average.Dear Guest,thank you for making Schloss Eberstein your first choice once again, and for your continuous trust in our hotel and restaurants. Just a perfect setting under the trees in the beer garden. There are inside areas but this is a good spot for some beers and people watching. The baskets of flowers along the perimeter are just beautiful and makes it. The first day we had the goulash soup and the cheese spetzle with salad- the soup was especially GOOD!! We were so happy with the easy going way of the place we returned the next day. The Octoberfest beers are really good too..Worth a visit! Some music would be nice in the beer garden, even just background music would be good. Dear CarabWe are glad that you enjoyed it so much that you even came to us twice.I apologize for the lack of background music as we usually play traditional music in the background.Why it was not the case during your visit, I can not answer unfortunately.The kitchen and the service staff were very pleased about your review.I wish you the bestYour Löwenbräu team
