Went here on with some business colleagues for a dinner. The building really not saying "this is the place", also the indoor environment is fairly simple but somewhat what you find in Germany. Nice staff an dwe ordered some typical dishes. Well cooked and tasted excellent. Great work. They also offer a local brewed beer which suits perfect toe the food.

It was our first day in Germany and we had visited a nearby town that had no restaurant and were directed here.This is a hotel/restaurant and the staff is very friendly though they speak very little English. There were 3 of us and we asked for 3 local dishes. We had venison, pork and brook trout. All were delicious and there was plenty of food. We had local beers and were also given their own liquor to start the meal.During our week in Germany we remember this as the best dining experience we had.

Das Restaurant macht einen freundlichen sauberen Eindruck.Wir kamen kurz nach 17 Uhr im Hotel-Restaurant an, die Servicekraft deckte eine Tafel für eine Gesellschaft ein.Wir bestellten unser Essen, es kam angemessen zügig.Inzwischen war die Gesellschaft anwesend ca 25 Personen und wir bestellten unser Dessert.Leider warteten wir über 60 Minuten vergeblich auf dieses.Weder bei der Bestellung des Desserts, noch Zwischendurch bekamen wir den Hinweis dass der Koch alleine in der Küche arbeitete,Als wir reklamierten, bekamen wir den Hilflosen Hinweis, der Koch sei alleine in der Küche. Ein Alternativangebot und die Entschuldigung für die Wartezeit blieb leider aus.

Wir sind auf der Durchreise im Cafe Bistro die Klappe in Bad Brückenau zum Essen eingekehrt und waren absolut begeistert. Die Einrichtung viele antike Möbelstücke, extravagant, gemütlich und schick, die Bedienung & der Koch ausgesprochen herzlich & freundlich, dazu das Essen total lecker und relativ preiswert. Hätte eigtl eher 6 Sterne verdient als 5 :)!!!

Herr Pfaff, the proprietor, is a great chef. He's been preparing food in the state bath area for 20 years. This lovely restaurant, part of the Bad Hotel (meaning "bath hotel") is situated right on the Bavarian State bath grounds where King Ludwig the First ran his government during the summer months. The historical buildings all around make the dining experience even more spectacular. There is a delightful outdoor cafe for cake and coffee or a drink, and the interior restaurant is lovely. The food is very good. If you have opportunity to visit during the spring or summer, the aspargus or "spargel" menu is wonderful. The prices are reasonable. There is higher end dining also available in the staatsbad, but value for dollar, atmosphere and quality are exceptional at this spot.

Just a little place with a small menu, but has good beer. And the owner is the chef. It all helps. You can also sit outside. Parking in the rear is not visible, but big.

We had coffee here and it's like stepping back in time when you walk in with lovely old-style furnishings (apart from a glitter ball, which seemed etwas out of place!). Friendly service.

Situated in the heart of Staatsbad Brückenau, you have excellent views of the Bavarian state bath buildings and gardens. The outdoor terrace / Biergarten is perfect for cake and coffee, ice cream, a drink or a meal in nice weather. The interior is also lovely and comfortable. The Friday evening "Schnitzel Parade" is exceptional value; the regular menu is gone, but if you're up for Schnitzel, there are many varieties and sides and it is very reasonably priced for huge portions. The regular menu on other nights is not huge, but ample. A lovely spot, I would highly recommend it.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich vom Chef des Hauses empfangen. Hatten nicht reserviert, dennoch wurde uns ein sehr schöner Tisch angeboten. Das Lokal ist recht klein und sehr urig eingerichtet - hat echt Charme! Wir wurden vom Sohn des Chefs sehr freundlich bedient. Essen sehr lecker & frisch zubereitet! Der Salat bestand ausschlieÃlich aus frischen Produkten - frisch gekochte rote Beete war auch dabei. Einfach ein toller Salat. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten einen schönen Abend. Fazit: Empfehlung!
