We fancied a change and joined the barbecue at Springiersbacher Hof. Not quite sure of how it would work (and not having the German linguistic skills to work it out) but our friendly hosts explained you selected your salads then the meat chosen was taken to the barbeque and cooked for you. The marinated meat was delicious and not burnt to a crisp as can so often happen with barbecued food. There was plenty of variety with the salads and it was okay to return to the salad bar as often as you wanted. Lovely atmosphere, great wine list from their own winery. It was not expensive and we weren't rushed away after our meal, we were told that the table was ours for the evening. Finished off with a local gin made on the premises, excellent evening with very friendly staff who made us feel really welcome.

An average place on the Mosel River. We had a light lunch there recently. The food did not come on a timely basis. The servers were friendly enough. The salad we ordered had way too much dressing. The FederweiÃer wasn't very tasty either. It is a nice room and ambience. Given the competition this is an average place that could do better.

We arrived past 8 o'clock in the evening and we're tired and hungry. Frau Wagner recommended us the restaurant and it was quite a nice surprise. Nice view over the Mosel, romantic ambiance. Delicious German food and nice wine (sweet red wine and very sweet dessert wine). Not very detailed menu, but that was not necessary. Lovely waitress who also tried to speak English and was patient when we tried speaking German. It was not cheap but also not that expensive (70â¬, 1 course, wine and water)

Das Restaurant heiÃt nun "Eden" und gehört zum Parkhotel in Bad Bertrich.EssenKarte bietet Salate, Hauptgerichte (deutsche Küche) und eine extra Schnitzelkarte - ich habe ein Schnitzel gegessen und es war optisch perfekt angerichtet, die Pommes nicht aus der Tiefkühltruhe sondern selbst geschnitten - insgesamt sehr sehr lecker!ServiceDas Servicepersonal ist sehr nett, aber man merkt noch die fehlende Erfahrung mit den Service-High-End-Regeln, aber stets bemüht und freundlich.AmbienteMit der Terrasse und liebevoll eingerichteten Innenraum sehr gut.Bitte lest auch meine Bewertung des Parkhotels - Bad Bertrich ist eben keine GroÃstadt und daher muss man einen anderen MaÃstab anlegen. Insgesamt würde ich sofort wieder dort essen!

We almost walked past Zumbusch without giving it a second look, until I noticed someone sitting outside being served a very fresh-looking salad. Even then, we almost walked by because the half dozen or so outside tables were full. Still, we ventured through the door and we are so glad we did. They serve Yugoslavian specials, along with a selection of schnitzels and light meals. Service was excellent, the food well-presented, and the taste - well, the cevapcici were out of this world. My husband had something the name of which eludes me as I sit here writing, but which is basically a spicy thick hamburger stuffed with feta cheese, and that too was delicious. Judging from the compliments from other patrons as they finished their meals, we were certainly not the only ones to be impressed. I honestly cannot rate the food too highly and the prices were very reasonable.

Très bien accueillis, on nous a servis un plat typique de la région à un prix tout a fait démocratique et servi dans le calme. Sans trop de luxe, mais suffisanment copieux et délicieux ; le service très correct et le prix tout a fait résonnable.

Visited twice recently on a Friday evening for a grill evening - all you can eat buffet with music! Beautiful setting, gorgeous food - plenty of choice - salads, breads and meat freshly grilled on the outside fire. Delicious! Brilliant music to suit all tastes - requests taken by the DJ! Also room to dance. Excellent value for money. Also open in the day for coffee, cake, lunch and evening meals. Had an excellent Sunday lunch a few weeks ago too. Hosts Ralph and Petra plus their staff are amazing xxxxxxx

As they claim schnitzels to be their speciality I had a schnitzel here, topped with goat's cheese, fried onions and bacon. It was a very thick slice of goat's cheese which, together with the onions and bacon, made the entire dish quite greasy, also because the schnitzel had been fried in butter instead of deep-fried in oil. The meat was quite dry and a bit tough. Salad was nothing special but okay. The riesling wine was very good though. I'd probably go back here if I couldn't find anything else.

Wegen Tripadvisor gekommen und die Karte studiert: Richtig, nicht zuviele Gerichte, was ja auf eine gute Küche hindeutet und trotzdem für jeden was dabei! Leider war die erste Wahl bereits früh am Abend aus, schade. Aber auch die gewählten Schweinebäckchen waren ganz hervorragend!Lieber weniger Auswahl, dafür frisch und gut gemacht, das ist hier die Devise und meiner Meinung nach ist das auch richtig. Wir waren sehr zufrieden!

The staff spoke little Engish, but we got by with our poor German and their limited Engilsh.The place was crowded to the point that some people came without a reservation and got turned away. It seemed mostly local, always a good sign.Not too adventurous, both had schnitzel. My husband had his salad with dressing but I got mine without. Great food.They did not take credit cards, but the check was so low that we carried enough euros to cover it, and that was with two beers and two wines! Highly recommend it as it was recommended to us.
