We stopped here with our driver and guide (Boris & Olga), it was 40 degrees outside and welcome relief to get into some aircon. We had our first taste of Placinte savoury version with cheese and spinach washed down with Chisinau Beer, just the job.

Located on the second floor of a department store, this restaurant/cafe is both affordable (even by Transnistrian standards) and serves a wide variety of local and international foods. The menus have text in English as well - so if you don't understand Russian (good luck in Transnistria) you'll be able to survive.The price level means cost per "head" won't be more than 5-10 euros unless you do something crazy.Thank you so much!

For my first night in Tiraspol, I wanted some comfort food. Took the number 2 Trolley bus from downtown straight to this ultra modern pub brewery. Had a few house beers and a lovely burger on the terrace. Just what I needed. Some staff spoke English.
