Absolutely wonderful - stay here!
Reviewed By Joan VThe hostess is kind & welcoming. She couldn’t speak English but translated using Google. The accommodations are basic, but it was the best part of our trip. We also took the dog for for a few walks. Thank you!!

Reviewed By DriezWI have been here a number of times for group lunches and the food is always beautiful! Organic, fresh and plentiful! A very familiar approach makes me feel straight at home! Like a family sunday dinner! After the food I just love chilling in the hammock in their beautiful green garden while tea and coffee are being served. Great location and lovely food and people! Can't recommend it enough!

Reviewed By Mary FThe location of Valea Stancii, was what we were looking for, as far as a traditional, family-owned guest destination. It was in the hills, next to a river, with guest rooms plus a small event venue (for a gathering of maybe 100 people max). My friend and I were on a road trip, and stayed here for one night. The room was OK, the location was pretty, the food was uninteresting, and the service not so great. As we did not speak Russian or Romanian, the family could not speak to us. But they also showed minimal interest in us - if we were comfortable or were looking for breakfast or coffee. They had their daughter (young teens) serve our meals, and it was not her favourite thing to be doing. She spoke a little bit of English. The biggest issue was that when it came to check out, they said they would not accept credit cards. I held the room on a credit card, so we expected to pay by card. It said nothing about "Moldovan cash only" when we made the reservation. They would not accept our Romanian money nor our American money, nor our credit cards. Between the two of us, we happened to have enough Euros to pay for the night. I would not recommend Valea Stancii

Parfait pour une nuit à Trebujeni
Reviewed By Marine MNous avons passé une nuit à La Nuci. Nous sommes arrivés sans avoir réservé et on nous a accueillis très gentiment. Le confort est sommaire mais plus que suffisant. Bien plus que ce que doivent être la majorité des maisons moldaves à la campagne. Salle de bain à l'intérieur, avec eau bien chaude. Petit prix.
