Kvint is the local Transdniester brandy. The factory is in downtown Tiraspol and make an interesting stop. Tours are in Russian but you can get the drift by looking at the factory. The tasting session makes it worthwhile!

You cannot really miss this tank on the main street. It seems OK (allowed) to climb on top for photographs, just a few minutes and the thrill is over.

I spent a lovely half hour here in this peaceful, beautiful working Cathedral. The exterior is pretty but inside with its icons, gold gilt and arches is where the place really comes into its own. Just a splendid place and absolutely worth your time.

Lively market, fresh fruits or vegetables of the season (also dry fruits and nuts, eggs, home-made fresh cheese and butter) are sold directly from local farmers at local prices (very cheap). Other sellers have some non-season and imported products at normal prices.

This monastery consists of several beautiful Orthodox churches, fabulously decorated inside. The golden onion-shaped domes are typical of this style of building. We visited whilst the monks were singing, which was very atmospheric.

Probably the most impressive building I saw in Tiraspol with its bust of Lenin standing guard out front.
There is not much to do or see except look at it and take photos! But it is well worth a visit and is a short stroll from the university and Subarov Monument.
Imposing and dripping with history.

You will walk through here on the way to the river and "beach". Lots of locals and a few statues to look at but you wont recognise any of the people depicted. There are a few vendors selling ice cream and drinks and a cafe close to the river.

This is a great football stadium and looks very modern and state of the art. Personally, I'm not really interested in football, but I was impressed by this place, If you love this sport, I would imagine that this would be a must-see attraction during your visit to Transnistria.

Grandiose in the Soviet style, and interesting simply for that reason. I found the whole city and breakaway republic to be very interesting, although most attractions individually aren't so fascinating.
