Had a very pleasant Sunday lunch here with family and a friend. The new restaurant at the back of the main pub is very welcoming and staff attentive when you arrive. A little reshuffling of tables despite having booked online but settled in comfortably at a table by the window overlooking the new terrace and garden. As it was Sunday the menu was mainly roasts but that's what we ordered. A sharing plate to start was enough for us three. The main course came with an enormous Yorkshire pudding but the plate was full and veggies just right. The service was efficient and the staff well trained at table. Overall it was an enjoyable first time at this new and successful venture and I think the gastropub will be a welcome centre for the village.

Four of us ate as a celebration meal. The choices were fantastic, the food quality good. The wine list seemed expensive. £33 for a bottle of Picpoul that normally sells for £24/£25 in all other similar places we eat/drink.The service was a little slow considering the restaurant was on 50% full otherwise I'd give it 5 stars. Secondly, I tried to call directly to book in case the venue had to pay for OpenTable linked bookings (trying to be considerate!) but their phone line was continually busy for the 20 mins I tried.Certainly worth trying again.

Amazing place. Had a wonderful evening with fabulous food and excellent wine along with amazing customer service. Our attendant Tom was outstanding, his customer service skills were on point. We often go for a meal out at The Sun Inn, you are guaranteed delicious food, a relaxed atmosphere and fabulous service. Beer garden is lovely also. Personally I'm not a fan of their Sunday roast (I'm a roast potato snob) but the rest of the menu is great. Would thoroughly recommend.
