Second time at this great French restaurant and once again the food was delicious, the service excellent and the prices very reasonable. We had Coq au Vin, Canard and halibut bouillabaisse, followed by poached pear and lemon tart for dessert, all wonderfully prepared. We'll be back soon!

Terrific place for a special occasion meal. We chose the fixed price three course meal and could not have been more satisfied. Every morsel was delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. The dress code (business casual) helps provide a nice ambience, and the jazz band (plays on Wednesdays) was superb. The atmosphere was lively without being boisterous. You definately need reservations. By no means cheap, but sooo good.

We had a big party in a special room of L'Abattoir Restaurant located at the 2nd floor above the kitchen on a Sunday evening in July. In spite of 50 guests, food was served hot, presentable and very delicious. Service was excellent, the two sommeliers were very knowledge ⦠Everyone of us was so pleased. Classic french food of the highest quality with wonderful service to match. Everything is done impeccably. My wife and I have been twice and would certainly go back again. The prices given the quality are very reasonable. A wine list to die for, and even the lowest priced bottles will make you happy with your choice.

A beautiful setting near the window, classy and relaxed, great attentive service but not over the top intrusive which is a tricky balance to pull off sometimes. really wide variety in the menu, plenty of seafood which was my main reason for attending this. Plus I was stopping at the hotel and the weather had drawn in so nice not to have to trek out.

This movie star caliber owner couple-run place is well managed and highly recommendable as to both the quality and service, along with the values. I would be delighted to bring visitors to Vancouver to this place, where the couple are genuinely friendly. I always look for a small, family run restaurants which tend to cut corners to keep the prices at minimum yet providing quality meals.
