Reviews on French food in The Valley, Caribbean. The Valley is the capital of the British territory of Anguilla, and part of the Antilles Islands. A favorite vacation spot of water lovers, Anguilla is a popular destination for wreck diving, snorkeling, or parasailing. The historic district of The Valley is full of old-style wood houses, including the Wallblake House, one of the only surviving plantation houses in the Caribbean. The ruins of the Old Prison are at the highest point in Anguilla, and provide stunning views of the bright blue sea.

I would like to add to the list of open restaurants. Alonzoâs on Spring Path Rd 264 497 7684. We have eaten there twice this week. The chef owner spent 10 years at Cap Juluca. The menu is high end with every day prices. The salmon in white wine was perfect and the tuna was grilled with a red center with just enough garlic. Entreeâs are about $20 to 23 glass of wine $7. The dining room is modern and serene. It is on the road no view, here you go for the food.

We didn't have reservations the first night we visited, but they worked is in to the sequence. We made reservations for our second and third visits however. The young lady attending the 6 or so tables was absolutely the epitome of efficiency in this lovely little place. Ben fixed us some of our most memorable dishes and enabled some of our most memorable nights in Anguilla. We had profiteroles for dessert, OMG- amazing. Make the journey. You will never ever find place like this in the US.

Extensive use of Anguilla's seafood and organic produce.Personal service from the owners.Special wine list, personally imported from France's top vineyards.Adjoining Art Gallery open restaurant hours. Open for lunch and dinner
My wife and I really enjoyed our recent dinner at Hibernia. The food was excellent and the menu was varied. The restaurant itself is small and cozy, with a nice romantic atmosphere and a good view over the restaurant gardens. The owners also have an interesting collection of art (for sale) that adorn the walls of the restaurant and there is also a few rooms in the back with more for you to take a look at. It's a nice "extra" and makes the experience more interesting and differentiated, even if you you're just looking and not buying. Overall, highly recommend for a nice dinner out and well worth the ~30min drive from our hotel in meads bay.
