Never expected to find the restaurant with such good kitchen in a small village. The chef Olaf prepared fantastic menu and his wife Kristiana was helping him everywhere. Nice family run restaurant, cozy atmosphere but the main thing the quality and taste of meals.Thank you !

This restaurant is truly worth the detour and fully lives up to expectations of a Michelib starred restaurant in terms of food quality, execution, ingenuity in taste and textures - bravo!This is a family owned restaurant in a truly ugly and dead village in the Eifel. Only hikers might enjoy the surroundings. You can stay overnight, rooms are simple and a tad outdated, but clean and convenient if you dinât want to drive home after dining at the restaurant. 100⬠per double room with a simple but nice breakfast included.We had the 8 course menu for 150⬠per head plus wines (84⬠for two). Two amuse bouches + all eight courses were a delight. I make a point of stating the prices of the food + wine as I believe they are more than reasonable for the quality you get. Beautifully presented plates with really excellent food - just go and discover! Wines nice, too, service efficient and prompt, no âchichiâ. Decoration in the restaurant is very modern and a bit cool with the bright spots etc, some might not like this as lacking a bit in warmth. If I had to name one point where they could improve Iâd say pick some more interesting cheeses for your cheese platter - throw in a bleu or sth more surprising.For the rest, bravo and all the best for the future - this time I will not wait 8 years before visiting again!

Ein wenig abseits des Trubels haben wir hier im Innenhof zu Abend gegessen. Der Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Aufgrund geringer Besetzung in der Küche waren die Wartezeiten leider etwas länger, wofür sich das Service-Personal aber mehrfach entschuldigte. Das Essen war sehr gut, der Antipasti-Teller frisch zubereitet. Auch die Spaghetti Aglio e Olio und der Salat mit Lachsstreifen sind sehr zu empfehlen. Das Ambiente im Innenhof war gemütlich, die Preise angemessen, wir kommen gerne wieder.
