I was so hungry and found this little snack bar on my delivery round, I had a full breakfast which was 1 Jumbo Sausage " Cumberland ", 2 Smoked Bacon, Baked Beans, Mushrooms, 2 Fried Eggs , 2 Toast, Tea or Coffee for only £5.00. I will be going back to try the Chicken & Chips as they served this up to a customer while i was waiting for my food and it looked really nice.

Have used this takeaway for about 15 years, never had a problem, until last night. Phoned in an order, collected fine, dished up chicken chow mein, noodles rock hard, gave them a call, could they bring another one over, no problem they said. Thought we'd start on the rest, special fried rice was cold, had enough by now, so went over to get my money back, not once did the lady behind the counter say sorry for the inconvenience, I wasn't offered anything else, no nothing. Now I know we all have off days, I that I can accept, but what I can't accept is that no-one said sorry. So for their rudeness we will not be back.

Chips were soggy sausage tasted cheap and my sons chicken burger was dripping in grease, chucked it all in the bin so a waste of £10 all in all pretty disgusting plus the longest I have ever waited in a fish and chip shop and it was a Sunday night, will not be returning any time soon

Cod beautifully cooked, moist, chunky and lightly battered was hot, and tasty. Chips crisp chunky and dry. Slice of lemon, buttered roll. Perfect after work dinner. And yet... This place is licenced, so Spanish white was the perfect accompaniment. All for £15. Excellent

Decided to go Friday night for a traditional cod, chips and mushy peas.We ate in.The quality was very good and the portions about right in size. We had 2 small and 1 large. Beer is also available. The total bill came to £37 which included a Coke at £1.90 and 2 Beers.Card payments accepted.Whilst no complaints on the food the overall bill for a fish and chip cafe styled meal was a little on the high side.Plenty of staff on duty and all seemed friendly and polite.Most importantly the food was excellent.

Found this Indian take away through google. Ordering by phone was easy and food was ready when I turned up. I was warmly greeted by the manager. He gave a brief intro about the take away and asked for support on google and tripadvisor. This is one of the most friendly take away I have been to.The food is nice. Texture is good. I had my favourite "biryani" and you get a bag of onion salad to complement it. Nice touch. Everything tasted nice but it was on the bland side. It could do with more flavour/spicy. In summary, the food is nice and is good value.

This is a difficult and strange review to do because so much of the offering is very good. Also, I don't do reviews becasue they are generally for people with far too much time on their hands. However, I am doing this because the shop is worth my time to attempt to improve the customer experience. The fish and chips are exemplary and the chef (stubble, been there for years) takes great care and pride in producing a quality product. When you eventually get served the customer experience is ok. The thing that never fails to irritate is the complete and utter blanking of customers as they enter the shop. You stand around for what seems like an eternity with staff making no eye contact whatsoever with no acknowledgement of your existence. This week I stood for 15 minutes. There were not many in the shop. Rather than get annoyed I just stared at the staff waiting for some sign that I was not an alien. None was forthcoming. When the assistant accidently caught my gaze whilst returning to the counter she immediately looked away. It is as though they know that they are not communicating and are embarrassed by it. I have lost count of the number of times people in front of me have become annoyed and left the shop without buying. It happens at least 50% of the time that I visit when there is a queue. What they need to do is manage expectations. The cop out sign that is displayed in the shop saying that there may be a wait and that great fish and chips take time is simply not good enough. What needs to be done is not rocket science. Simply, as a customer joins the queue they should be greeted. They then should be informed whether anything that is currently cooking / cooked is available and then asked what they want. If it is not available the customer should be told that it will be 5/10/20/30 minutes or whatever until their food could be ready. Manage expectations, don't allow people to steam. If you did this I would come more often and your shop would not get so many walk outs. You are in a customer facing business. Please learn the rudiments of customer interaction.
