This was my first visit to Lussmanns, I had heard a number of good things about the restaurant and I was not disappointed. The staff were welcoming and friendly and were very informative when it cam t selecting the wines. The food was well presented and excellent, it also was good to the that fish was sustainably sourced. I will be returning.Thank you for your review. Having walked past this place a couple of times, we finally got around to going in for a light lunch. The tapas style small plates/appetizers were perfect to share. Well presented with good flavours. Very comfortable lounge style interior is probably more suited to evening dining. We will definitely be back to find out. Although we didn't try them, the lunch curry specials look like good value. We went on a Tuesday night and stumbled across Tapas Tuesday - 5 dishes off the starters/tapas menu for £30. Everything we had was fantastic and clearly homemade - lots of interesting flavours like the satay chicken with kimchi and halloumi fries with honey. Amazing value for money and the food was plenty for 2 people. The dining room at the back of the pub was also really nice and light, can't wait to return in the summer and make use of the beer garden.Hi Wolfboy27 - great name,Great choice on choosing to opt for our 'Tapas Tuesday' offer - it's great value for money and gives you plenty of options, and perfect for 2 people to share.Glad you enjoyed the homemade food & restaurant space, and I look forward to you returning and enjoying the pub garden!Thanks again,Adam

We decided to visit this pub for the first time for lunch having recently moved into the area. What a disaster and we only had sandwiches!The âposh fishâ sandwich contained so many bones that it was virtually inedible. The tuna and cucumber sandwich should have come with a magnifying glass so that you could try and find the filling!Not cheap either for what you get. We certainly wonât be returning. Luckily there are plenty of other more favourable establishments to visit.David2006, we regret to hear that you had a negative experience with us, .That is the first time we have had a complaint about BONES in a Pollock sandwich??But I will feed back to our suppliers.Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We visited the Red Lion for a midweek lunch today and were very disappointed. The food took 50 minutes to arrive and we had not even ordered starters. The quality was very poor - the bread on the steak sandwich and fish finger sandwich had to be sent back as was inedible. The kids meal sliders meat was also complained about as was not up to standard. Was disappointed because in the past used to be a great place to come.Falling short of meeting your expectations is not to the standards we strive to achieve, and we humbly ask for the opportunity to make this right.
