Came here with my family for my birthday and was excellent. Food was brill and staff was very friendly. Especially nicole she was very funny as she took our order and made us feel very welcome. Best Chip Shop around. The fish and chips are award wining for a reason. The staff are lovely, always very friendly, super efficient and they ALWAYS give service with a smile. My eldest son wonât have chicken and chips from anywhere else. Lovely, local family business.

Although I go to football matches regularly up and down the country, I rarely review any eateries I visIt as usually there is not much to review! However Fish Hut is the exception to the rule and I am sure local Burton supporters will know all about it. I came across Fish Hut by accident whilst looking for somewhere to park. It is located on a light industrial park about a 5-10 minute walk from the ground. It is a fish and chip shop with a spacious, spotlessly clean restaurant attached. You order at the counter so essentially pay takeaway prices and the top class staff bring the food to you. I had a lovely pie, chips and cup of tea in the warm and comfort for less than I would have paid inside the ground. Even if the football does not lure me back to Burton a future visit to Fish Hut will!!

My first week in Burton and this chip pie is like a stone throw away from my place. Limited veggie options. I ordered a veg spring roll which was very bland but the chips were amazing. The sheer quantity was humungous and tasted great too! Its always a fall back option.
