Apne has become our regular Indian restaurant and we always have a lovely meal. We mainly go on Sundays but we have visited midweek plus Fridays and Saturdays. Itâs worth booking at weekends/holidays as it is a popular place. The staff are friendly and always have a smile on their faces! The food is spot on and we canât recall having a bad meal. Some of us go for spicier dishes like Madras & Jalfrezi and others go for more mild dishes like Saag Balti & Masala and all are tasty. Itâs also very affordable particularly with it being a âbring your own drinkâ restaurant. Definitely recommend and thanks to everyone at Apne!

This really is a top-class Thai restaurant with typical decor one would expect in this type of establishment. The food was superb and would certainly recommend the sharing mixed Baan Thai starter and Thai green chicken curry. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Only a couple of minor criticisms would be that the tables are a little small to seat four people if you each separate dishes and the service was not the quickest. Having said that we wouldnât have any hesitation in going back as the meals were reasonably priced and excellent.

We visited on 27th July and were seated upstairs. This was our second visit I would have preferred to have been informed that the table was upstairs when booking as I have a mobility issue which made this not ideal.On our previous visit the service was very good but unfortunately it was very different this time. We had to keep asking for re fills of water and serve our own wine. Our starter plates were left on the table for 30 mins after we'd finished and the main courses took 45 mins to arrive. We had to ask for cuttlery for our mains. We weren't offered anything after our mains.When a waiter eventually appeared we asked for the bill which took 15 mins to arrive and despite asking for the card machine it didn't appear. We eventually went downstairs to pay the bill. I expressed my disappointment that the service had been so poor but the waiter merely said it had been very busy and offered no apology whatsoever. The food was good so it's such a shame that the service was so poor. When booking I would prefer to be told that the only tables available are upstairs and that way I can choose to visit on another date .

Ordered lanb tikka masala, sauce far to creamy and sugary sweet and the lamb was stale and tough, they changed it got chicken but same sweet sauce. Service rushed hadnât finished popadoms when taken away. Whispered that they havenât charged for my curry, as if they did us a favour no will not be going back Hello,We highly appreciate your review and concern about it. Having been recommended Koriander by a vegan friend we gave it a try. So glad we did and this is now our takeaway of choice. Quality ingredients, excellent food and great service. It is a little pricier than many other curry takeaways, but well worth it.Highly recommended.

Overpriced and food average at best - had shared platter which meant we got 1 of 3 things each and a plate full of lettuce!had sizzler for main - Which had 3 burnt dried up lamb chops - no meat to speak of on these and 4 pieces of chicken. The rest was bland rice and potatoes. Oh and lettuce..againService excelllent but way too overpriced and portion size tiny - less lettuce and more meat would be better.This was our second try - wont be returning much better nearby for less cost!

First visit and very impressed with the service and the food was excellent. The spices used and the flavours created were definitely different to Indian curries.Great value as well, we will be back.
