It is situated 1 mile east of the St Agnes Heritage Coastline, and is around 8 miles south-west of Newquay. Perranporth and its 3 miles (5 km) long beach face the Atlantic Ocean. It has a population of 3,066, and is the largest settlement in the civil parish of Perranzabuloe. It has an electoral ward in its own name, to which the population was 4,270 in the 2011 census.

We had tasty fish and chips on two occasions whilst in Newquay and they were delicious although we should have asked if the fish could be stood to drain after being cooked as it was a little greasy as was my daughter's vegetarian option.It was all freshly cooked and there was a queue so they were working hard to keep up with the demand. We will try them again on our next visit.

Yes, itâs on a campsite, but itâs open to everybody, even those not staying at Penrose Holiday Park. Dazâs Cafe is a takeaway but if you want to eat there, a seating area is available. If you are staying at the site your food will be delivered to your caravan or tent. Over several visits we had mussels in a creamy sauce, fish and chips, pizza, a huge southern fried chicken burger and a few breakfasts throughout out stay. All food is hot and well cooked and the pizza bases in particular are highly recommended.All food is homemade and cooked to order and the portion sizes are good value for money and extremely tasty.And donât forget to try the locally made ice cream.Daz and the team are very friendly and accommodating.We hope to return next year!

Small Thai take out with very pleasant staff.Very expensive & food nothing special.If it had been cheaper it could have been forgiven but a big disappointment.Not very spicy at all which is what I love about Thai food.Pleasant but not fantastic. Typical takeaway.

I chose this chippy because the notice outside claimed to cook all orders from fresh so I was prepared for a wait, turned out to be 15 minutes.All the staff seemed totally disinterested. and demotivated.The Fish was cooked fresh but very small, the chips were just warm but hard, probably been cooked about 30 minutes before the fish.If you like good Fish and Chips give this one wide berth.

Great little place on the Perranporth main road. The best coffee Iâve had in Cornwall so far this visit. Lovely atmosphere, friendly service and great vegetarian menu.
