Decided to give this place a try. We have ordered delivery food from here in the past and it was not too bad considering it tastes much better when you eat it there. Had some burgers and beers and the food was good service was great despite a huge table that day. Its a local place that gives you an honest burger and fries for a decent price. Will be back again

Many delicious vegan options to choose from (either eat in or take away). I ate there twice during my 4 nights stay in Haarlem! Definitely a gem for vegetarians or vegans :)

Sometimes the first time you try something it is the best, and whatever you try after can't quite compete. We had our first Netherlands fries experience at Friethuis De Vlaminck (just down the street from the Grote Markt) and they were superb. We had a chance to try fries many times later on this vacation, but none could match the fries we had here. We told the owner this was our first time and he gave us a little taste of all 8 sauces. My husband is a fries snob and he can tell if the fries are frozen before they are fried, and these were not. When he likes the fries you know they are good, and he loved them.
