6 of us booked a table for 7pm. nearly blown over by the east wind. Tried to understand the platter system, excellent waitress helped. The fish platter was very good with samphire , The meat platter was minute slices of several salamis with undressed green salad. The cheese platter was the best and generous. The dessert platter was good. The ambiance was good service good.You will have to improve the meat platter

Finally got to visit this little gem with a suprise date night with my partner.From the moment we walked through the door it was perfect.We were taken downstairs and decided to try the cocktails before dinner as seen a few posts on social media and couldn't wait to try.Highly recommend.The extra special touch was Adrian who brought over our drinks explained about each drink and how each one was developed.Food was amazing and service, look forward to going back to try the rest of the cocktails.Adrian is so passionate about his creations and when timer permits will always explain about the artisan products we choose and how to get the very best from them, We certainly love them and glad you do. Thanks for a lovely review and hope you can come back to try the new ones being released soon!

Turned up without booking and they were able to accommodate girls serving very nice and made us feel at home went for starters of scallops and mains of sea bream and shepherds pie both with veg cooked perfectly and nice and hot could not manage a pudding as two courses were enough definitely recommend the menu had so much to choose from from basic to fancy this was the best meal we had whist in poole due to quality of food and serviceThankyou for taking the time to write such a positive review. My partner and I booked the last table last night for our dinner so a heads up to make reservation in advance to dine here!We were served by Susan who was very attentive to our needs and we had amazing starters of scallops and of smoked salmon which was absolutely gorgeous as you the woody smokey scent just fill your senses and nostril as you have a piece of the salmon in your mouth! Sensational! The scallops were done well and tender with delicious sauce.Our mains were their famous braised pork crackle and lamb. Both were absolutely amazing! Highly recommended to try them.Our dessert was no less impressive with the passion fruit and the dark chocolate.On paying our bill we were given their home made dark chocolate which was delicious too!Truly a great culinary experience last night and would recommend it to anyone! Staying locally, this turned up on TripAdvisor so we tried it out. Warmly welcomed into this Middle Eastern type restaurant with a 1970âs look. Hummus was superb and served with delicious home made bread. Hadnât had a Moussaka for years, so tried that. Simply superb, rich and flavoursome, best ever! Really nice friendly environment with staff who seemed to are about the food the serve. Thoroughly recommended.

We were taken by family who said before that it was one of their favourite restaurants anywhere! We were not disappointed. Friendly, beautifully decorated, and the food is superb. Lovely atmosphere, busy and frankly better quality and service than it's more famous restaurant competitor round the corner in Sandbanks. Would definitely return next time we are in Poole.

Away for a short break, We were delighted that we chose to spend our evening at Tawnyâs. The menu was inspiring and the food very much lived up to its promise. The pea and courgette pakora with spiced yoghurt dressing was outstanding Which I followed with the lamb, which was quite possibly the nicest I have ever tasted...the jus was delicious ... as were the vegetables which were cooked perfectly to retain flavour and bite. Although full to bursting, I would not have had a sweet course, but couldnât resist the blueberry panna cotta which was everything Iâd hope it might be. I am almost 70 yrs and have eaten in the very best places throughout the world, and can honestly say the food that this restaurant was up there amongst the best. Proof being that we booked a table for another night before we leave.

Another amazing meal here last Monday (9th) Thankyou so much! The food is absolutely amazing, I am coeliac and have a nut allergy and I had so much choice, it was tasty and perfectly cooked. The staff could not do more for you and make you feel so at ease, the customer service is outstanding. Easily the best place to eat out at in swanage and infact one of my favourite places to eat ever. Thankyou xx

The Pig has a loyal following which is not surprising and this location is fantastic. Their dressed-down almost shabby chic approach is refreshing when visiting this lovely property form the moment you enter. We ate in the conservatory, service was slow, to begin with, but the food and outlook were wonderful. We even had a walk through the vegetable garden which was a treat all by itself. Saying that the view was amazing and w having drinks on the lawn before eating was fantastic
