Now fully re open following major refurbishment.
Found review on internet and decided to give it a go. In the beginning we wanted to eat in, however queue was really long and we have been informed waiting time is up to 50 min. We bought our fish and chips for take away and what can I say-proper fish and chips, generous portions and really fresh. Competitive prices. We can only thank you for your delicious food and friendly service.

The oldest and best family run fresh fish and seafood Bar/Restaurant on Poole Quay. If you love fresh fish and seafood this is the best, no batter on the fish and not a chip in sight.Fresh local fish and shellfish,Oysters,Crab,Lobster, fish soup,Fish pies
After doing the Cockleshell trail we all needed a good lunch and the menu outside attracted us.We were not disappointed, we all had the fish pie. This was really hot and full of tasty fish. The staff were friendly and the service could not have been better. When any of us are in Poole again we must revisit.

We were taken by family who said before that it was one of their favourite restaurants anywhere! We were not disappointed. Friendly, beautifully decorated, and the food is superb. Lovely atmosphere, busy and frankly better quality and service than it's more famous restaurant competitor round the corner in Sandbanks. Would definitely return next time we are in Poole.

With views across the water you can enjoy a casual lunch with classic dishes such as crab salads and moules mariniere, alongside seafood dishes including dover sole meuniere, turbot hollandaise and fruits de mer.

My birthday today and I wanted to go here for lunch as we have done on previous occasions. It was showery but we checked met check and the weather was due to improve. On arrival meet and greet was all about the rain due in. Are you open or not ?? Gill who we love and think usually does a good job was simply goddam rude. Message is stop getting so defensive about downstairs I know itâs nothing to do with you. A smile a greeting as opposed to growling at me wouldnât have gone a miss. We all know about the rain due in. If itâs open then letâs all be happy about it. Went downstairs for a very average meal. It didnât rain again so you could have served customers and taken money. Your 5minute weather warning wasnât correct after all. Disappointing to say the least because the food is usually amazing.

We are nothing fancy we are a relaxed family friendly restaurant.
Early evening in Swanage and many places were shut or shutting. The big name fish and chips place was only doing restaurant service. We were please to find Wright's open. It was good piece of fish, freshly cooked and the chips were good too. What's more it was at a reasonable price. Would use again if in the area.We were using the take away, not the restaurant.

Stopped in for a drink and a sandwich and not disappointed. Lovely location on the pier and the glass wall makes it visible. We were overcharged but it seemed a genuine mistake and was soon put right with no fuss. portions good and service friendly. only one toilet which was for everyone but there is another, less nice, toilet just outside on the pier.
