We had two dinners here when visiting Thessaloniki. The first time we were greeted by Despina and looked after throughout by Efthimis. On the second visit Jane and Sofia were our servers - all very pleasant, courteous and helpful. Jane in particular was a star.We enjoyed everything we ate - the courgette fritters with tzatziki (kololithokeftedes), mushrooms with ouzo flavour, horiatiki salad, fried kefalotiri (saganaki), baby sautéed potatoes and florina pepper stuffed with spicy feta - all were so tasty. We ordered several plates and shared these between us - delightful. The barrel wine was very good as well - and the prices are extremely fair. Greek coffee was on the house and lovely - thanks!The tables and chairs (and the whole environment) is attractive with interesting pictures on the walls - live music on Thursdays to Saturdays, but the music playing while we were there was pleasant too - Rembetika mainly. This place is a gem in Thessaloniki for those who prefer light food and love wine. We tried the risottos and some salads, appetisers. Plenty of gluten-free options available. And the wine... We had the chance to try some of the Greek and Italian wines this place offers. The waiters were keen to help us with our choices and the wines were just fantastic! My personal favourite was the moscato dâasti, perfect as dessert (as itâs a sweet wine).We stayed 2 days in Thessaloniki but had to come back for a second visit before we left! Thank you for everything!

Visited this place due to my lovely TrAd App, So I don't know why, but wanted pizza a lot. Delicious pizzaz, very fast service from the oven to the cashier. You have also possibility to sit outside, but ofcourse due to high popularity it will be hard to find a place to sit. They also offer draft beer. Advise!!

Our hotel recommended the Grada Nuevo for good seafood. It is located in a busy restaurant precinct, where there's plenty of options. The restaurant looks attractive with a modern, trendy setting and professionally dressed staff, who welcome you in. Our party of 4 chose 2 X salmon, 1 X cod, and 1 X groper. All dishes were well presented and perfectly cooked ; the bread basket we got with it had a good selection of crunchy rolls. Together with a nice bottle of white the bill came to 110 Euro. We had a good night, and a wonderful meal ; we considered it fair value and we came back the night after for more.

We visited this place on our anniversary and I have to say that I am truly amazed by the places like this.Their menu truly on the spot, their prices are really value for money, the quality of the food just amazing.Next time I am in town I am definitely going!

Extravaganza is a brightly lit yet cosy little restaurant serving delicious interesting dishes prepared in an open kitchen. A minor gripe was the cigarette smoke coming inside through the open sliding doors from the outdoor seating area, but this is a problem all over Greece!The cooks and chef looked quite professional & very promptly whipped up a storm. The deconstructed beef lasagna and grilled lamb chops were both good, even though the temperature of the chops wasnât medium as requested; two of the four were underdone, one overdone and one just right. Perhaps due to their different thickness... All were tasty though and the lasagna was a real tastebud sensation! Service was fine, but they were out of many meat dishes - perhaps due to the public holiday. Luckily there were plenty good alternatives on offer... definitely a place to visit when in town!

We had a great meal at Nama sat outside overlooking a square and church. The cheesecake starter with a beetroot topping was outstanding and the squid tasty. Mains were equally good and the portion sizes were perfect. It cost more than other more traditional Greek taverns but the food was a cut above. Definitely worth seeking out.

We went to this restaurant based on reviews and have to say we were all very disappointed. The service is terrible and the waiters in a couple of incidents quite rude. The starters and mains come to the table at different times. Some of us had our mains before we had finished the starter. The food itself was average to say the least and extremely salty. There are so many other restaurants which are so much better and friendlier. Iâd give this one a miss.

We stumbled upon this gem of a find in the narrow streets of the city. And what a find. The food is so simple but just amazingly tasty. The exotic salad is divine....the best salad I have ever eaten. Both chicken dishes on the menu are fabulous. A well decorated taverna, with welcoming staff! Prices are very reasonable too! A must of a taverna to visit! We visited Judah Club for our brunch and we really loved the place. Penny and Vasilis were very kind personnel always with a smile :)Food was so tasty !!! We ordered the eggs with guacamole and the banoffee pancake and it was the best we ever had so far! My girlfriend had also the time to buy some clothes in a very competitive price!
