The evening we were here, there were only two other tables. We sat in the inner room. Too bad that it wasn't warm enough to enjoy the lovely court yard. The black board menu is charming and very French. Our appetizers were wonderful...a stuffed portabella for him and a huge artichoke for me. Both were picture worthy!! and delicious. My filet arrived cooked 'bleu' as ordered with wonderful sides. His roast chicken was actually a whole Cornish hen...both were better than excellent. We had to pass on dessert. Not only were the portions generous, we ate every scrap. We even had a reasonably priced bottle of French wine. We had intended to go back, but never made it. Sorry we didn't but dinner there was a wonderful SMA memory.

The music is fantastic from start to finish. Don't miss it. The food was okay. The roasted goat cheese appetizer was quite good as was the salad with avocado and goat cheese. My enchiladas with salsa verde were good. All in all, a lovely evening in SMA.

This is a friendly, neighborhood-type bar that is the center of the ex-pat community in San Miguel. The stuffed portabella mushroom is delicious. The mesmerizing artwork by Neal Smith-Willow adds to the bohemian atmosphere.Thanks for coming in. I'm glad you enjoyed the food and Neal's art. This restaurant featured excellent pizzas for our group of four the night we visited..there was an excellent performance by a music group, Media Luna, which demonstrated how delicious food and great music go together.. the service is attentive and friendly..the atmosphere made for a very spirited and very fun evening.. this is a happening place

I went to Mivida to hear the musical group Maverik (smooth rock in roll if thatâs a proper descriptor) on a Sunday evening. The music is from my era and very well done. Thatâs why I went and was so very pleasantly surprised to find a wonderful ambience (warm and pleasantly modern but not extreme) with fabulous food coming out of the kitchen (northern Italian â owner is from Torino/Turin) with subtle Mexican ingredients/flavors and fresh, fresh seafood. House made pasta! Bar off the entrance is a nice gathering place. Also, a separate dining room and outdoor dining â. main dining area has the set up for the music venue. Donât wait for the Sunday night musical treat. Go now for lunch or dinner (!) and go back Sunday evening for more!

You never know where you will find delicious food. In the new food court Mercado de Carmen is a Crêpe stall that has phenomenal crêpes. The French chef imports his buckwheat flour from France this the crêpes are very light and gluten free. Tonight I had the mushroom, vegetable, ham and salad crepe which is a winner. I can never resist the crêpe tatin which is his take on tarte tatin with a caramel sauce. I can never resist and have had it a number of times. Never fails to make me happy.The Chef and his wife are lovely people.The Mercado de Carmen is fun as you can try different food in a casual and well done environment.

Four of us dined at Firenze several days ago and enjoyed the experience. There was a good variety of traditional Italian fare offered and some unusual dishes such as pasta with wild boar sauce. Service was attentive and friendly and the prices were not out of line when compared to other restaurants of the same caliber.

From entering Casa Nostra and viewing them making pasta to the chocolate trufle at the end of your meal you will enjoy this dining experience. The service was superb, a nice drink selection, and fab food. Everyone in our party of 10 raved about their dinner. If you're in San Mingal Casa Nostra should be on your agenda.
