It was an excellent pleasure to be there. Food and drinks were perfect, included an excellent service. The price range is ok. You get a big portion, and you will never leave as hungry. The stuff is very nice, family atmosphere and perfect service. I can just recommend !

staff is very friendly and multilingual - best place is sitting outside on terrace and view large panoramic view over lake Balaton....but it is sometimes really noisy as railway track leads direct behind the house - and car parking of Helikon beach is nearby.huge menu selection of Hungarian and international dish.

We visited the restaurant 3 times within a week. The first occasion was fine, good calzone, good service.Seond: the restaurant was closed, no info on webpage or even on the door.Third: due to the second case we called and wanted to make a reservation by the big tv they had as we wanted to watch a sport broadcast. They said there was no need for reserving as they have plenty of tables empty. We showed up in 5 minutes and met those tables around the tv but with reserved notes on them. We were seated by a smaller tv close to the restroom. We ordered our drinks and started to read the menu when a waiter came to the table and told us we had to move to another table without tv and right by the toilet as a bigger group had just booked in and our table is easier to set fir then. We decided to leave the restaurant.

Friendly and non smoking throughout, which makes a difference with children I think. Good food and variety, friendly service and good location. Would recommend.

My first problem with this restaurant is that it was filthy! Our table was full of the previous 1-10 guest(s) leftover. The waiter was just coming and changing plates and silverwares but he didn't bother noticing all the dirt around us. All of our silverwares lied directly on that dirty table. Disgusting. They should clean up the table after every guest. I ordered tee, they served it with a lemon presser which was dirty as well, I could see dried parts of the previous lemon on it. Even the plastic-covered menu was so filthy I went to wash my hands after tapping it. I would have left after the first few minutes but I couldn't as I didn't want to offend someone who invited me :-(The quality of food was below average. I don't think they made anything fresh. The menu contains 134 meals!!!! It is scary. Even the chef-recommendation page didn't include anything fresh-made-like or seasonal. I ordered duck liver, which was very hard, tasteless and oily. Anyone without cooking-knowledge would make better. I couldn't even eat it. Even my tea was one of the lowest quality teas. It was terrible, too. I think people who prefer quantity over quality can enjoy this place. I couldn't.I wasn't expecting anything fancy or first class stuff, but if someone serves food, there are standards to keep. Cleanness is essential. And I would fire the chef and make a narrower choice with less complicated meals. Why would you list all the food there is in Hungary?! It makes me think not to eat here, this restaurant is not that big and crowded enough to handle so many food properly. They should keep it simple, Hungarian food is great enough if it is prepared properly. And they should taste what they serve. When even rice is terribly prepared, there are big problems in the kitchen.

Pura Vida Port Keszthely is probably the most exclusive place in the heart of the Yacht Harbor. Open throughout the year, the restaurant has a closed and covered area and a beautiful panoramic roof terrace. The Balaton is within reach, while enjoying our
Very good service! A bit strange thst they put de red wine in de fridge. Maybe a Hungarian tradition? But it was quit fine for the rest.

We were very hungry and this place filled our bellies with delicious and large meals. There are delicious drinks even for non alcoholics (their homemade lemonade). I took fish and substituted potato purée with veggies, so they made more veggies for me! It was very nice, and the fact that the whole place is very open, bright and just very attractive. It is a family owned restaurant, so the service is very friendly as well. Very nice experience, would surely come back! They have different menus for - meat eaters, fish eaters, vegetarians, vegans and paleo!
