A very popular place with locals and visitors to this spa town. Most tables are reserved. Get there extra early, suggest at opening time, if you hope to have decent service. I was in town three nights and on the first night I sat in the center of the place at a table for two and stared right at the bar area and was totally ignored for 15 minutes. Not even a hello. I walked out. I had a disappointing meal at the local Greek place. So the next evening I went back, early, and sat at a table in the spacious garden, which was all reserved or full except for a four top tall table that I had to myself, sort of a waste of space if you ask me. The pizza was only so-so, I didn't see what all of the fuss was about there. Crust was odd. Didn't care for it. Returned on my third and final night, arrived just after opening time. Again sat at a four top which was not reserved and saw couples coming and going without getting a table. Table or space management here is strange. The pasta dishes likewise, my bolognese was prepared without imagination. Just pretty bland but still, somewhat surprisingly, a very popular place. Beer was good! However, if I were to return to Bad Steben I would probably eat elsewhere, not that I saw that many options.

Very quiet, nicely decorated. All of the food on be menu sounded aonderful. Everything we had was very well prepared. Very large,portions.

War dort schon einige male Essen und es war immer wieder ein Genuss.Der Service ist super nett und schnell zugleich. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön. Zudem gibt es einen kleinen Biergarten mit Blick auf den Dorfplatz vor dem Wirtshaus.Sehr zu empfehlen!!

A great little gem of a place. A mix of food, beer and shop selling from the distillery. I just had a sausage dish, but from that I think I would recommend anything from the menu. Very welcoming staff.
