Amazing, rustic and authentic. Small, hole in the wall type establishment. Couple of hundred meters back from the waters edge and definitely not a tourist trap. All I can say is... phenomenal.... food, service and atmosphere. Lasagne was mind blowing!!! Best I have had during my two weeks between Milan and Come.

Went tonight. Cozy restaurant in the dead centre of Como, amongst the intricate and fascinating vias of the city. Very intimate atmosphere, with an abundance of wood and copper decor. Transparent chairs lighten it up, with a touch of modern to the traditional. The staff is very professional, warm and welcoming. The menu is a delicious variety of dishes, some of which echo traditional Italian flavours but with a personal touch. Balance of flavours is always on point. The dishes are all very enjoyable, tasty and good. Presentation is impeccable. Service at the table is perfect. The wine selection is well curated, and suggestions are expertly given. The chef came to the tables to greet us; a kind and smiling man. Will definitely go back. Strongly suggested for couples or max a group of four.

We had a fantastic dinner at Cascina Respau. We weren't sure what to expect but we weren't disappointed. We were warmly welcomed despite our late arrival. The choice of primi, and secondi all sounded mouthwatering and we made sure that everyone tried everything. The pasta was absolutely fantastic and Iâve never tasted anything like their rabbit. The wine rounded everything off. The warmth of the team was very sweet and the restaurant is on a nice hill in a beautiful house. The walk up and down is the start of the experience and youâll not want to miss it.

What a find! Off the beaten track but absolutely outstanding fish! Go a little off the main squares in the historic center of Como and you will find this hidden gem. We went for lunch on a Sunday after church and it was outstanding! We had a platter of frutti de mare and followed with a Sea Bass baked in salt. Highly recommended!
