We were taken there by friend and were pleasantly surprised with excellent, fresh food. According to experience, best restaurants only have a few specials to offer, therefore you know it is fresh and made for just that day, not pre-prepared and frozen. This was the case. Also one of the few restaurants which can make broccoli the right way and not overkooked as many others. Also ambiante was nice, with modern furniture and good service.

This place has been open for 8 months but we only just learned about. We came on a Friday night and it was quiet - lucky for us! Lovely outdoor eating area with beautiful design. We had an excellent waiter and ordered lamb shank, oxtail and salad. Everything was perfectly presented (chef is a great cook but also an artist) and the food was delicious. The chef even came for a chat which was a lovely touch. They are closed Sunday but open for breakfast and lunch all other days. This is a lovely place for couples. Very romantic setting. Highly recommended and we will be back.

'On the Edge' is the restaurant of Hotel Thule which is situated on a hill, in one of the residential areas of Klein Windhoek. We really enjoyed our 5 nights stay in the hotel, in January. The restaurant - inside and on the terrace - with great views over Klein Windhoek was a wonderful bonus. Having breakfast with that view was the perfect way to start the day.Enjoying a delicious meal with a glass of wine, a great view, beautiful sunset colours and lovely late afternoon light was the perfect way to end the day!!The food was excellent and so was the service.We had invited friends for dinner who said they had never had such tasty duck before!!

If you are looking for a sundowner drink after work, or a place to socialize with friends, then the wine bar is definitely tops. I was invited to a birthday celebration of drinks and light snacks for about 30 people, and the atmosphere was amazing. The single waitress assigned to our area kept all our classes filled, and everyone happy, not an easy task if you know how Namibians can drink . The lights snacks were delicious and definitely a winner.

I had an awesome expereince at the Olive exclusive restaurant. Great scenery, great food, beautiful decor, and away from the busyness of the city centre. It was so tranquil and relaxing. We had a table on the deck with birds singing in the trees and purple skies as the sun set. The restaurant is decorated with larger-than-life rocks, wooden artifacts, and giant wallpaper of the local people. It creates a fantastic atmosphere.My steak was done to perfection. Service was incredible. I will highly recommend this restaurant for dinner.
