We found this place coincidentally but turns out, they have delicious food. Their dried chilli chicken is die for. Dishes are served in claypots mostly and service is good. They are friendly too.

I always buy my laksa from this shop. The chilli paste is very fragrant. (they also market the paste separately in a plastic bag). You can try their dry noodles or soupy noodles. The fishballs are springy. They have a choice of meehoon or kwayteow. Chicken rice is also available but a tad expensive.Besides these meals and others, try the freshly-baked cakes and bakes especially the fruit cake and Hokkaido cupcakes.

This place is slightly out of the way, and was a little hard for us to locate, as it did not show up on our GPS sets. However, it was worth the trouble though. The food was of good quality, and prices were reasonable. The service, while not exactly fantastic, was at an acceptable level. Some of the dishes they offered were rather unusual, and mostly tasted good. Prices were also reasonable, although they are definitely not the most affordable option you can find in the area.We quite liked the setting too. There was plenty of greenery around, with some interesting-looking plants. Feels like a nice place to have a relaxing meal in.Worth a visit for lunch!Do however note that most of their dishes are seafood dishes. It is therefore not suitable for people who do not enjoy seafood or who are allergic.

This restaurant is supposedly famous amongst Muar residents for seafood. What that basically means is that you will need to wait a long time for your food. The food can be good depending on what you order - some of the fried stuff is good. The assam fish was too watery for my taste.

This restaurant is constantly packed. The best time to go is about 6 pm before the it is crowded. The seafood in this restaurant is fresh and prepared very well by the chef. The fried mee hoon with crab was one of the best that I ever tasted. The yam ring was the best that I have eaten so far. The sweet sour fish with fruit was also very good. Everything I ate in this restaurant was delicious.

The place is a no - frills place so don't expect great decor. What I like about this is that they use yam rice and put meatballs in the bah kut teh. However, we didn't get enough vegetables. Overall this is okay and probably one of the better bah kut teh places in Muar but compared to what you have in Klang, this place is somewhat average.

This restaurant is 300 meters from where I stay and I frequently customized with my wife. They cook sea food very well such as Assam Pedas, Sweet and sour fried fish and many varieties of Sea food such as prawns and clamps. Price is moderate. It is not a restaurant with a proper building but with a hugh galvanized iron roof with the sides all opened. The several chefs doing the cooking can be seen beside where customers sit and it is a wonderful sight to see them cooking while waiting for our turn to eat. It is around the corner of Jalan Junid and Jalan Khalidi, Muar.
