This is a vegetarian restaurant in small town of Muar in Johor, Malaysia. I went with friends for breakfast. Surprised to taste vegetarian meal that is so good it is not like vegetarian I used to have.Nice & cozy setting, fast & attentive service.Interested with the menu, we went back there for lunch. I tried french black pepper lion's mane mushroom which seems & tastes, delicious, tender & juicy - I almost believe it is duck or chicken. No artificial flavouring according to the waiter.Recommended.

This restaurant is supposedly famous amongst Muar residents for seafood. What that basically means is that you will need to wait a long time for your food. The food can be good depending on what you order - some of the fried stuff is good. The assam fish was too watery for my taste.

This restaurant is among the few Satay Restaurants at Jalan Majidi just opposite the Old Post Office (now used by Telecoms). They cater very good satays made especially from the organs of Cows as well as Beef and Chicken . The Satays (Beef, Chicken or cow organs and stomach) and cut into smaller pieces of about 1 to 2 cm, seasoned with spices for a few hours and are then skewed in coconut sticks ( the sticks being cut out from the coconut tree leaves) . It is then barbecued above coal fire until brown and cooked and serve immediately. They are eaten by dipping the barbecued stick of beef or chicken in spicy sauce prepared using hot spices mixed with grounded peanuts. It is nice and enjoyable to eat and very appetizing. No wonder you will find that the tables are always occupied especially by the Malays most of the time who like Satay very much

The place is a no - frills place so don't expect great decor. What I like about this is that they use yam rice and put meatballs in the bah kut teh. However, we didn't get enough vegetables. Overall this is okay and probably one of the better bah kut teh places in Muar but compared to what you have in Klang, this place is somewhat average.

This restaurant is 300 meters from where I stay and I frequently customized with my wife. They cook sea food very well such as Assam Pedas, Sweet and sour fried fish and many varieties of Sea food such as prawns and clamps. Price is moderate. It is not a restaurant with a proper building but with a hugh galvanized iron roof with the sides all opened. The several chefs doing the cooking can be seen beside where customers sit and it is a wonderful sight to see them cooking while waiting for our turn to eat. It is around the corner of Jalan Junid and Jalan Khalidi, Muar.

Whenever comes to Muar, please don't miss to pit stop at this shop for their signature Mutton soup. Brought my friends today for lunch and recommended the soups. They too commented excellent taste well accompany with garlic bread. Even Rojak's fillings and the sauce are extraordinary.

This restaurant is about 15 km travelling from Jalan Abdul Rahman, Muar travelling down South on the way to the small town of Parit Jawa. It is not too far from the sea (Straits of Malacca) They cater specially Asam Pedas fish plus other spicy food such as sambal prawns and vegetables. The price is very reasonable. Normally A dish of Asam pedaa with a fish of 500g plus vegetables and rice for four would cost RM25. Parking by the side and by the river is very easy with lots of parking lots.
