The town is situated in the foothills of the Himalayas and is a gateway to the neighbouring state of Himachal Pradesh. It is on the National Highway 22 between Chandigarh and Shimla, and it is the terminus of the Kalka-Shimla Railway. To the south of Kalka is Pinjore, and the industrial village of Parwanoo (Himachal Pradesh) is to the north on the NH 22. Industrial development has led to a continuous urban belt from Pinjore to Parwanoo, but Kalka remains largely unaffected by these developments. Nearby is Chandimandir Cantonment where the Western Command of the Indian army is based. In 2013 it has come under the jurisdiction of Panchkula Municipal Corporation and its municipal committee has been dissolved.

We were here for lunch.This restaurant serves pan Asian cuisine.We were a fairly large group and so we ordered Chinese food.The chilly chicken was well prepared.I liked the fish prepared with lemon.The service was very good.

When you want to eat Chinese that everyone will like, choose Yo China. It's not authentic Chinese but it's Indianised and hence more of them like it. I prefer Mainland China for Chinese food but when I'd like to eat something affordable and 'masaledaar' Chinese, I choose Yo China

A family restaurant with a nice ambiance. Food tastes great and they serve authentic Chinese food. I would recommend it for Non-vegetarian people as they have a good range of dishes. Being a vegetarian I didn't found many options but still whatever I ordered, it tasted great.

Lately been to this amazing place for a chinese buffet. The chef had revamped the menu altogether. And believe me youu it was one of the best chinese i had. Everything was just on point with amazing flavours.So its strated with a chicken, mushroom carrot beans and coriander soup which was amazing. Then followed by a water chestnut, bell pepper and cucumber salad which was great too. Now coming to appetizers i had crispy corns, crispy chongquing chilli chicken,stir friend lamb, batter fried calamari and, salt and pepper prawn. All were delectable however I loved the calamari and lamb the most. Highly recommeneded these two.Below is the list of things i tried in maincourse along with their ratings⢠Caramelised onion fried rice - 5/5⢠Veg hakka noodles- 4/5⢠Chicken fried rice- 4.5/5⢠Shredded lamb , bell pepper and chilli.- 5/5⢠Trio of mushroom, butter and black pepper sauce-4/5⢠Stir fried fish, fresh chilli oyester sauce- 5/5⢠Stir fried schezwan style slicked chicken-5/5⢠Xiao xiang pepper fried pork, pok choy and leeks -5/5Everything was just way too scrumptious, it just i loved the pork and fish the most.And now the best part, Dessert.
