I ate here with a work colleague whilst staying nearby. The menu has other choices, but pages of different variants of steak convinced me to try one. We arrived midweek around 19:30, and the restaurant was quite full; nevertheless we were quickly shown to a table without any fuss. Service was efficient and professional. I ordered the pepper steak and it was -DELICIOUS! Melted in the mouth - No excess fat, gristle or anything else.RECOMMENDED!

Even though for an average person the Schnitzel is pretty much too big, it was still very good fairly priced, and the leftover were nicely wrapped to take home. A little less would just be good enough.TIP order one it is big enough for two, it really is. Imagin a plate diameter 28 cm , and you don't have space left for potatoes.... that bigggggg

The first time I had dinner with his family was at Anno's. I had already been formally introduced and we had a coffee date, but this was DINNER. I spoke no German and his parents didn't speak English. His brother spoke English but he is naturally a very quiet person so that was not going to help. It was me being presented to the family. I remember being very nervous about what to order as this was my first time in Germany and I had not yet experimented with the food. The menu had a wonderful variety of meaty and hearty sounding dishes, and I trusted him to get me a steak. Everybody got different steaks and sides, beers according to your taste buds and we sat and waited for our meal. I thought there would be odd silences, but as he was translating the first story to his parents, a beautiful salad arrived in less than 7 minutes. In no time, all you could hear was knives and forks on plates, crunching, munching and a lot of happy grunting. I eat very slowly and they eat ''really' fast so it's always funny when I am halfway through my meal and everyone else is done. However at Anno's, the steaks were succulent, the potato dishes are literally to die for and the beer and absacker's were flowing, as was the conversation and my dinner. We all left Anno's fully stuffed. It was a wonderful evening.From that experience, every time I am in Hamm, we have a family dinner at Anno's and it never disappoints. The outside garden on a sunny afternoon is the best location to catch up with friends over a sundowner. When avoiding the cold, the warmth, decor and ambience inside Anno's will have you heated up in no time. Even on a busy night, the staff is ever so attentive, smiling and caring for every patron, no matter their age. I was impressed. So far I have been to Anno's around 7 times with a plan to eat my way through their menu. I am already drooling over what I will have next time. Can't wait to be back.

Our group of 8 went looking for an authentic German dining experience while we were in town. We found it! The menu was extensive. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food. The baked Camembert as a starter is not to be missed. The Weiner Art schnitzel (my dish) was something I would order again. They make their own beer but also have a good selection of other Brews. The waitstaff is delightful. You are very fortunate if Leah is your server. Brush up on your German or bring a translator app

Hatte ein überbackenes Schnitzel (sogar Kalbfleisch) mit Pommes, Salat vom Buffet. Eine Suppe gab es als Vorspeise und einen Pudding als Nachtisch.Das ganze für 7,90⬠- und ich bin sowas von satt Das Essen war im übrigen sehr sehr lecker und von hervorragender Qualität!

High quality seafood with many choices. I ordered a tomato soup appetizer and it was very good. For an entrée, I ordered the salmon fillet. What came was 3 medium sized salmon fillets. Very tasty and very reasonable prices as well. I recommend this beautiful piece of property to anyone near the area.

Garmin led us to this average German/Yugoslavian restaurant. Itâs the kind that you can find everywhere in Germany.Positive is that fries and meat were baked/grilled dry and crisp. A not too hot tasty pepper sauce was served on the side.I did not like the salad bar much, because the only fresh element was iceberg salad. All the rest came from tins and jars, such as beans, corn, peppers etc.All in all, it was an honest cheap meal.
