We stayed in the appartement above the restaurant and had diner twice. Food very nice, wine available by the glass and friendly staff. Prices pretty friendly. Excellent choice.

I was on a ski weekend with my wife, and we had an overnight in St. Antonien which really is stuck up on a mountain road and quite removed. All the quaint was discovering the Rhatia which is a hotel with resatuarant. My wife and I enjoyed the cordon bleu and appel strudel with vanilla sauce was perfect.

The restaurant has a very good atmosphere and the service provided by the staff was excellent. The food quality was disappointing. My tomato soup had way too much salt in it. I couldn't make myself eat that. The main dish itself was okay, but the sauce the meat came with had again way too much salt in it. I can't recommend anyone to eat at this place, but if you're just looking to grab a drink it's a nice place with great service.

We dropped into this little gasthof for a late lunch, after a hike in the mountains. It is conveniently located about 1K from the base station of the chairlift. We were welcomed onto the terrace by the friendly waitress, and enjoyed excellent salads, washed down with beers. Gave us strength to continue our walk up the valley to our hotel in Gaschurn. Strongly recommended.

We were recommended this hotel by a bespoke tour guide we used (Ultimate Drives) who put this down as one of our lunch stops during a 7 night driving tour.The views, quality of food, service and value for money were world class.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this in or out of season, the veal schnitzel I had was simply to die for.Enjoy

Ate dinner and breakfast here while staying overnight as we hiked the Via Alpina red trail. Dinner was the same for all of us paying for 'half pension.' It was excellent, and we were given plenty (family style, at a shared table with other guests). First a mixed salad. Then the entree: a HUGE pork chop, with sauce, potatoes and bread. Dessert had berries, ice cream, sauce and whipped cream.The dining room is very traditional and pleasant. The server was superb. Breakfast included a few items to choose from, but was very fresh and good.

After a 9-mile hike over Versettla and Madrisella, we staggered into this friendly outdoor mountain bar at around 4.00pm. But lunch was still available, and we had an excellent and reviving goulasch soup. The party was already in full swing, with plenty of raucous toasts, celebrating the day's achievements in the hills. Great atmosphere, surrounded by cows with bells, and just around the corner from the chairlift back down to the valley.

ate here twice over the weekend, both times quick service and good value for money. A bit disappointed though at the outside service as we could not find a seat inside on the 1st day.

Used to visit the Obwald hutte a lot back in the dayWhen we skied Gargellen 12 months ago it was shut - I think the proprietor was illAnyway it's reopenedIt has new toilets which were greatService, drinks and food were good tooThe spaghetti bolognese, goulash and fried potato dishes were all great

As most Austrian alpine restaurants this one offers the typical cuisine but at an easily reached location. Also in summer! Even reachable for disabled as long as you can handle a cable car. Check out the web for the nearby Klettersteig adventure!
