If you want good tasting food with best rotisserie chicken ever, look no further than this place. Great food, nice people, excellent prices, large portions Minimal English is spoken but no worries, point to what picture item you want and itâs yours. They will cash your USD dollars if needed. Colones are the price but they will do a conversion for you at good rate.

If you are craving for local food that is both delicious and affordable, this is the place to go. Among many great dishes: Lengua en Salsa, Chicharrones + Frijoles (Patrulla), and the Casado are tasteful and way better than the average expensive local food restaurants. The main dishes are very affordable (cheaper in price than average, but not in quality). During lunch hours, you might be waiting for a place to be freed. They make smoothies-styled drinks, instead of a mixed fruit juice. I strongly recommend!

This is one of the innumerable street-side eateries catering mostly to the blue-collar trade. Portions tend to be generous, plain, and cheap, with the bar probably providing most of their income. We had casados, a standard luncheon item through out the country, which were ok.

I was first recommended to this restaurant by a local colleague. A group of four of us went there for a causal dinner. Great roasted chicken combos with juicy chicken breast and drums at affordable prices. It was in the middle of a triangle intersection of roads so it could be easily driven passed. Just remember to slow down when you get near and turn into their parking lot.

We took a group of our collaborators for lunch to the Market today. We had coordinated some details beforehand but definitely it was thanks to Priscilla's attention and amazing service that we had such a pleasant experience. The food was delicious, service was great, prompt, and super courteous. Even having a vegan person have her lunch BTO, everything was seamless. 7 of us went after work. It's an open plan place covered but open to outside. There's horse saddles and other paraphernalia thrown about the place to make you feel....not sure what. All of us had a steak of some sort with the usual sides. The steak was a good cut and well cooked. There's nothing special to say about it though...no interesting sides or garnish or flavours so I guess its a good meat and two veg spot. Price came in at $30 a head (2 beers each) which seems ok until you realise that's about half a weeks wages for a factory worker. Go for a steak but not for a culinary experience.

We were greeted as we entered, and the amiable service continued throughout the meal. Tried a new shellfish, cuchibana, in ceviche, which was delicious. Mussels, sort of. Followed by sea bass covered with shellfish. All for $60.00 for two, including drinks. Pura vida.

This place should remain number 1!!! The place has unbelievable food and great beer selection (local beers and Belgium/German) and the staff is so amazing!!! And open air seating if you like. They played some Metallica videos for me at my request. What a great find. And a short Uber/taxi ride if you are close to airport.

Located in the Plaza Cariari. Busy spot for drink & eats! Plenty of atmosphere with an all American feel to it. LOVE the NEON. Lots of food choices. Plenty of friendly servers.
