We spend an hour there, just walking around, having lunch, and going to the supermarket. It was fairly big with a lot of USA branded shops. The food court was the same with one or two local outlets. The supermarket Auto Mercado was there too. We found things somewhat expensive especially the wines. There was a cinema there too. There were not that too many people there too.

This tour was absolutely beautiful. I've been to several other horseback riding tours in the States, but this was something special. The path that we took was stunning through a little fields, a bunch of woods paths, and several streams/creeks. The owners take great care of the horses and their riders to make sure everyone is happy. After the ride, they even had time to sit down with us to share some drinks and fresh fruit and talk for a while. Such an amazing, peaceful farm. If we get back, I want to go with them on the intermediate ride, but my girlfriend thought the beginner ride was challenging enough so I guess it's a great ride for all different types of levels.

Yoga Massage Therapy

Through fine technique and special ingredients your body will be exfoliated, massaged, and stretched through an invigorating session. This massage contains all of the ancient oriental knowledge and will guide you into body awareness, detox, and deep relaxation.

I was in need of a really good massage and I used trip advisor to make my decision for me. Nyree replied quickly to my query and we arranged an appointment. When I arrived I was given a three page questionnaire to fill out which gave me some reassurance that this was a good professional outfit.
I had a quick shower at the venue and then the massage began. I almost immediately felt completely safe as I was massaged and manipulated into various positions. Afterwards there was a nice warm ginger drink available and nyree kindly took the time to answer some of my questions.
This is a case of something being expensive for a very valid reason and is certainly worth more than any number of mediocre massages.

Tour guide was amazing, he knew every animal's story about their injury and how they got to the refuge. The animals were amazing and this project sure could use more funding. We enjoyed every minute! There were only two of us and we were made to feel like they were expecting us and that they were there to answer our questions.

Zoo Ave

While educating the public about local wildlife, this zoo also breeds endangered animals for eventual release to the wild.

Reviewed By mckeaniac - McKean, PA

Our visit to Zoo Ave began with an introductory film explaining the Mission of Central America's largest wildlife rescue center. The goals of the center are to rescue, rehabilitate, and reintegrate animals into their natural environment, as well as to breed endangered animals for release into the wild. The center receives about 2000 animals a year. About 2% of the animals remain in the zoo as permanent residents, the most famous of which is Grecia, a female toucan who was fitted with a prosthetic beak after an animal cruelty incident.
The park has beautiful botanical Gardens with more than 125 species of birds, reptiles, and mammals in natural enclosures. The park is completely accessible, has a small gift shop, and a restaurant on-site. As part of our tour, we enjoyed a delicious Costa Rican lunch buffet. This unique zoo park is well worth the visit!
