Although this is a local restaurant, and offers Thursday jazz, we often use ot for special events. Took friends who have just set a date for marriage. The meal was wonderful, and each dish special. Ranged from steak, fish, veal and even pizza. We split a large Cesar salad and wonderful desserts. A nice wine choice. Servers are knowledgeable and attentive. We all agreed it was a wonderful evening

Went with my grandkids yesterday. The biscuits were cold, had to ask for a fresh batch. The broccoli was so old it was shriveled. The same with the stuffed mushrooms, they were shriveled too. To make matters worse, they were vacuuming/sweeping with customers inside. Will not go there again, Scarborough location is much better.Hi, Daphne. Service is excellent. Reservations are honored. Both the 12oz New York Classic and the 7oz Filet Classic were done to perfection. Juicy, tasty, and nicely presented. We always ask for the Baked Potato trimmings on the side so that we can add as much as we want (and need). Definitely worth a return visit.

My grandson wanted to go to Wimpys for lunch so my husband and I took 2 grandkids there yesterday. I got so excited seeing the old time tables and chairs and booths with the jukeboxs. The food was very good and loved the fries. Service a little slow with kids fidgeting but I had a great time. Will go back on Friday for my 75th birthday weekend.Thank-you for your review and patronage!Happy 75th Birthday!!

Just came back from this restaurant. We haven't been here for a very long time so I asked my husband to take me out for my 75th birthday there. I indulged in the shrimp and rib dinner at $36 a plate..3 tiger shrimp that were not fully peeled over 10 oz ribs (half the size that they used to be). The ribs were soft BUT they put the shrimp on the ribs and over everything was this disgusting, disgusting chemical sauce that was putrid. I thought I was going to throw up (and I don't normally). I remember their tomato based BBQ sauce was delicious and beautiful long ribs. If I am paying for shrimp, I want to taste the succulence of the shrimp not some chemical crap over them. Well, needless to say, I thanked my husband for taking me out and NEVER NEVER AGAIN to Baton Rouge. Another restaurant down the drain.We are sorry to hear about your unsatisfactory experience. Fantastic diner with our business partners of Beans & Grind, bringing Pelican Rouge coffee to Canada . Weâve shared starters eg Oyster samplers (amazing especially with the spicy infused vodka) gnocchi (original main dish, but we took it as a starter to share as weâve heart great stories) carpaccio and amazingly fabulous tasting soft fish tacos.As a main I had the Australian lamb, but also the other dishes with the steak and the sirloin with lobster were looking great. Friendly staff, nice location. Was not impressed by the scoop of vanilla ice cream, too watery. This place deserves the new Pelican Rouge Coffee, so hope my bizz partners will follow up on this soon :)

We have been on a search for great pizza for over half a decade. Some decent pies have come and then gone. Finally we ate two terrible ones from a very popular chain last week and had to try something new. We just ate our first Abruzzo pizza and it was the BEST pizza we have ever ate in our lives. The pizza is perfectly built with toppings perfectly balanced. The strength of flavour in the mushrooms, onions and peppers balanced so beautifully with the shockingly good pepperoni. The slices of REAL bacon and a delightful salami...this was a perfect pie. Now to the real deal. The crust is like a cracker crust. The crust is so delicious by itself that just that would be a nice meal. The cheese used was so ropey and rich, it danced on the palate with every bite. The pizza sauce is one of the finest Italian sauces that I have ever had. That sauce would do pasta a beautiful job. On the pizza, it just raises the bar higher than I thought possible. Dynamic in flavour, the fresh herbs and hints of garlic and olive oil just explode in your mouth. We cannot recommend this pizza enough. You may have eaten many others (and many others may cost less) but here, you are paying for artisanal quality. The best pizza available. Get some and give your mouth a party.

Nice to see there is still a classic restaurant that caters to fine dining style (proper dress code required). Traditional but nicely appointed woodwork, stained glass and classy ambiance. Food is excellent and all cooked to perfection. The Caesar salad made table side is amazing. Excellent wine menu.My only comment was that in true custom â Women should always be served first. Iâm sure that it was just a little busy. Good value for exceptional food and desserts.

Pastrami Sandwich and fires and coleslaw all very good. Price in line. Noisy but expected. Service a little slow but restaurant was busy. Change photo to show a meat sandwich as this is their specialty. It's the place to go if you want very good Jewish deli food. Their in-house baked cookies are excellent.

We had previously on many occasions had breakfast, lunch and dinner here. Food has been very good and our service as well.We ordered the burger (with blue cheese) special and accompanying orders of sweet potato fries (with a very nice Mayo style dip).Excellent!! Generous portions and the fries were very tasty and crispy.
