Things to do in La Tuque

For my money, this is the best restaurant in La Tuque. The food is consistently very good, and served hot. Lots of selection on the menu, nice decor (renovated a few years back), and good staff. Lunch specials are a good deal.
French fries cooked in peanut oil. Very very good. Ã've tried the poutine too snd very good. A fast food to go too during spring, summer and beginning of fall closed during winter time

Were having a hard time finding a restaurant when we noticed that the parking lot at this one was full. We walked in at the same time as a group of ten. The place was packed but we still got served within 15 minutes. The food was good, the portions generous, and the service fast. Impressed by the experience. Were out in 45 minutes.

Traveled for business June 2016. We had breakfast. It was OK. Food, price, service -- all average. Both of our orders were messed up. Took 10 minutes before getting coffee.Outside seating area is nice BUT there is a continuous repulsive smell caused by the paper factory located a few miles/KM away. Inside of the restaurant is modern and clean. Would I recommand.... Not sure. I have not seen as many other restaurant in La Tuque that I would like to.... It was A-V-E-R-A-G-E...On every aspect.

Visited as part of a large group (40+) and the staff were quick & efficient. They have a nice selection of local beer and are free with the samples. I had the flank steak, which was cooked perfectly & very tender. Highly recommend!

This is the fanciest restaurant in town, with an extensive French-cuisine steak-and-seafood menu, and high prices to match. In my three visits to the St-Francois the food has been good, but never memorable or worth the cost in my opinion. On the last visit my "filet mignon" was tough, and was cooked more than the "rare" ("saignant") that I ordered -- which was probably a good thing. Appetizers were swimming in garlic butter or creamy salad dressing.Service was very good, properly attentive.

Overnight stop in La Tuque and visited Le Boke after Tripadvisor recommendations. Not disappointed at all. Warm evening with both indoor and outdoor tables, occupied by locals and tourists. All the young serving ladies were very attentive and helpful. My wife enjoyed a chicken salad and I had the meal of the day: braised beef and mash. Both were really excellent.Thank you so much! We're happy to know that you enjoyed your experience at our restaurant.
