Oxie does not have much to offer in lunch, so this is one of the better alternatives, but hardly worth it you are not really hungry and have little time to go anywhere else outside of Oxie. The place is a nice farmhouse converted to a showroom and very cozy restaurant. The Austrian chef is a magician when it comes to very delicious lunches and even some theme evenings with special dishes. The Ceasar's Salad is by far the best that I have had anywhere in Sweden. If you are driving around the southwestern part of Sweden, this would be the perfect place for a lunch break. You cannot go wrong with the food.

This cosy cafe is placed in a nice orangery close to a wood. Their salads are made with fresh local ingredients. The only (small) complain I have about mine is that I would have liked the chicken to be warm, but otherwise it was delicious. Loved the environment and the friendly staff!

Märtas is very good if you want an alternative to the normal American style coffee chains. Here you choose between salads, baked potatoes or sandwiches, apart from various hot drinks and cakes. You also get friendly service.I like the low key ambiance and the small courtyard, weather permitting. There's also a small shop, but the opening times are not as generous as the café's, although the flowers, plants and quaint pots are on show in the courtyard adding to the quaintness. Food was ok, but please note that if you'd like bacon with your Caesar chicken, you need to order it extra. - The tables in the courtyard were somewhat dirty, but maybe this was because it was at the end of the day and near closing time.

Med stor förväntan promenerade vi bort till Solsäters gÃ¥rd i Räng, ett par hundra meter hemifrÃ¥n. För ett par veckor sedan öppnades restaurangen och en granne berättade i mycket positiva ordalag om den goda maten. Bokade för säkerhets skull bord, men när vi kom satt det endast tvÃ¥ andra sällskap i rummet. Beställde var sin räksmörgÃ¥s, toast Walter respektive toast Skagen. Var sin Walter hade varit lagom â Skagen kändes lite väl stor. Men inte klaga, tvärtom, det var generöst med räkor och trevlig uppläggning.Vi valde bÃ¥da ryggbiff till huvudrätt. Det var en helt perfekt grillad köttbit av god kvalitet. Traditionella men goda tillbehör.Ett enda litet minus. Vinglasen. Standardglas frÃ¥n Ikea. Vi gav tipset vid betalningen; skaffa lite mer rejäla glas för vinupplevelsens skull.Friskt vÃ¥gat att öppna krog ute pÃ¥ den skÃ¥nska landsbygden. Vi lovar att stödja initiativet!

I was there for lunch with a colleague and everything worked well. The food came quickly and was quite plentiful, good service and at an ok price. Thumbs up.
