I just started having breakfast here almost every morning, and I love it! Good coffee, pastires, panini, pizza, everything is delicuous!

Tappa obbligatoria per chi percorre la superstrada per Siena. Si pranza (bene e a prezzi contenuti), ma si può anche degustare un piatto freddo di prodotti tipici della zona. Noi amiamo la loro porchetta, nella classica pezzatura maxi: a fette grosse su pane toscano, con farcitura di zucchine e pomodorini sott'olio, è una delizia per il palato. Buona scelta di vini e di birre. Cortesia e prezzi abbordabili.

You might need to be a dedicated traveller if you were to set out specifically to find this little treat, but if you are in Tuscany and visiting the old Abbey at San Galgano, then make the effort to look in and have a meal or a snack. It is accessible immediately off the road, but more interestingly accessed via the hill climb from the Abbey up to the church and then down a small track to the bar. It is signed and not too difficult to locate or get to. There is a terrific shop attached selling all sorts of local produce and some very good local wines. Also the range of available meats and cheeses are well worth a try.The menu is quite reasonable, the proprietor very helpful and the food well made and presented. This was a delightful find and I would recommend it to any traveller in the region.
