Had a nice antipasti and secundari both with wild boar. It was pretty quiet when we had dinner (late in the season on a thursday), but the food was all worth it. My girlfriends pasta was pretty 'dente', but that seems to be the Italian standard, that we still need to get used to ;-). Mind you; Pizza's are only available on Saturdays and Sundays!Thank you for the good judgment, but just for the tranquility that you have found, you need to understand that the pizza needs so many not two or three requests.In fact, in pizzerias there is always a lot of confusion.Best regards

Siamo stati a festeggiare un compleanno ed eravamo in 15. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo ed abbondantemente. sapori genuini davvero buoni. Quantità generose servizio ineccepibile. Location country con camino acceso che faceva atmosfera. Darei eccellente++.

Not a lot of choices in small town, however this restaurant is very good. Deserves higher rating in town. It is important that you can park there as places difficult in town. Follow signs or ask a local. Generous portions of delicious food, cheerful service, small place with just a few tables, obviously favored by locals. So much better than high rated bistro galli, has varied menu and terrific, cheerful service. Dei galli pretty and well placed, but food bland. This is quite good.

We went 3 times in a 2 week holiday in castiglione after the lifeguard told us about this place. Its a real, basic local next to montepescali station, with a little bar and shop area and restaurant at the back. There are 4 types of fresh pasta with various sauces as primi fit 6euro, antipasti such as meat or cheese platters for 3 or 4 euro, mains bbqd or stewed meats from 8 -12⬠and red and white pizzas.We wewent in groups from 3 to 8 people, all of us loved it.
