What a pleasant surprise, I was driving by and had never called-in ,but today I did and was very surprised how good everything was. Very friendly staff and very good cooked fresh food.

We were looking for a salad lunch whilst visiting Morecambe for the day and found this independent community cafe opposite the Eric Morecambe sculpture. The chicken salad was copious and succulent. Homemade ginger beer was a delicious non-alcoholic option. Excellent value and friendly service. Thank you for your kind review, really pleased you enjoyed it. Hope to see you again soon!

Visited this cafe one Saturday morning after my hubby had done the Morecombe park run along the promenade. Situated right on the prom and next to a car park it is perfectly positioned. It was very busy with runners, we ordered a coffe, soft drink, egg sandwich and bacon sandwich. We had to wait quite a while, but to be fair they were full, when the bacon sandwich arrived it was really greasy, I think they had either put loads of spread on the bread or fried lightly in bacon grease, not sure.I had not been well on the journey over and I thought this would help to make me feel less nauseous but unfortunately it had the opposite effect, I am sure it was not their food. It was about £10âs for the items.The cafe has two serving points, one for food and drink and the other is a ice cream barThe staff were okay, not the friendliest bunch you could meetProbably a one off visit as I am not sure I would be back in the area anytime soon

We had lunch at Grafters Cafe Heysham today. It looks like a transport cafe at first glance but donât be put off. Inside dining room is very nice and thereâs outdoor seating where we sat. Staff are very nice and the food we had was excellent. I had the small breakfast but wish Iâd ordered the big breakfast it was so nice. My wife had a jacket potato with tuna. Also very nice. Served with mugs of tea that were also very good. Wouldnât hesitate to return or recommend Thank you for such a lovely review. We are really pleased that you enjoyed your visit and hope to see you again soon.

We were doing a walk from a book that highly recommended The Curiosity Corner Tea Rooms but for some reason they were closed so we tried the Old Barn cafe next door. Perhaps we just caught the cafe at a very busy time but it took 25 minutes before we received our food. My bacon and sausage bub contained one piece of bacon which was (and tasted) burnt and 2 sausages cut in half

We stood outside Costa on a blustery, rainy Thursday last week and decided to stick to our pledge of buying from an independent whenever possible. We were lucky enough to find Kerry's where the welcome was warm and genuine, and the hot chocolate and americano, both perfect. Long live The Independents!
