There are several Italian restaurants in Helmond, and this is our favorite restaurant for casual lunch.The restaurant is small with only few tables. They can fit about 20 people max at once. When the weather is warm, sitting at their terrace is very nice because you can see several beautiful churches in the city center.They have simple menu with salad, pasta, sandwich or lunch set with very reasonable price and tasty. We normally get the lunch menu because you then get one drink, Italian appraiser and sandwich with only 10 Euro. No place in this region has such good food at that price.It's casual place for meeting with friends or casual lunch with colleagues.

OK, its not the most charming places, but the food is the REAL stuff! You have the Portuguese hosts always ready to please you with any request for foods, anything extraordinary that you tasted during vacations and want to have again with family back home, just call ahead and ask if it can be specially cooked for you.Could not flaw the place, a typical Portuguese bakery/cafe with a little restaurant and supermaket to it.

Situated in a row of similar cafes by the canal and it's fountains at the end of the main shopping street in Helmond, this makes a nice spot to stop and have a coffee/tea. It has a selection of snacks for lunch and all the usual drink options. A Capuccino and sparkling water were reasonably priced at e2.40 and e2.20.
