Known as "The Royal City", Guelph is roughly 28 kilometres (17 mi) east of Kitchener and 100 kilometres (62 mi) west of Downtown Toronto, at the intersection of Highway 6, Highway 7 and Wellington County Road 124. It is the seat of Wellington County, but is politically independent of it.

Love the kooky cones for a family treat night out. We get mini or small cones, any other size is to big. The staff are friendly and will let you try the different flavors. The chocolate bars and fondue are also very good. Highly recommended!

We were here for a "Disney Sing a Long" and will be back soon for the Broadway version. Small intimate setting and very knowledgeable staff. What got us was how the staff seemed genuinely happy to be here. That is important to us and makes a huge difference. The owner (Tommy) is a great guy and made sure our experience went off without a hitch. Did I mention that they are stocked to the gills with every board game you can imagine?? My friends and I played a few games and had a lot of fun. We can't wait to try out "Afterlife Game Lounge" downtown (same owner) as we are sure it is just as well done. Bravo!

I had coffee with a friend at Robusta today. We both ordered large lattes and wanted them in a ceramic mug/cup instead of paper/plastic. The largest hot beverage that they can serve in a "to stay" cup is a small. I looked at the glasses that they have for the bar and they seem to have every shape and size imaginable. I am really trying to be environmentally responsible and feel thwarted at this cafe. That being said - I love the atmosphere and the old photos of Guelph, high ceilings, view, outside seating,etc. They all get full marks. Just get some bigger mugs please. It wouldn't cost much and would help save the planet!Hey there, glad to hear you liked our space. As with most restaurants we have a standard sized latte mugs for in-house orders, which is suitable for most guests. If a large was specifically requested it would come in the takeout cup you received. As for the barware you spotted, whiskey, beer, wine, and cocktails all have specialty glasses perfectly suited for the drinks that go in them similar to our specialty cappuccino and latte mugs.

f you are looking something different, Zest Cafe offers a diverse menu of home style cooking for breakfast and lunch. I visited for lunch and had a chicken wrap with side salad. Although it was good, I regretted the choice when I saw other more exciting meals being served! There seemed to be steady traffic of regular take-out customers. It was nice to see support for this local business. The restaurant had a cafeteria atmosphere, but the food was served at your table. I'd definitely return and I'd certainly order something more exciting next time!

Not cheap, but quality (Shaws) ice cream, plus a few vegan choices, and a sugar free. Pleasant enough staff, the usual long line moves quickly. Waffle, regular and cups, the servings are large; the two scoop is a lot of ice cream! There is also a nice Tea House that serves light lunches, purportedly good; we did not partake. Seating by the river, inside and out.(Please don't feed the Canada Geese!)

We had heard from several friends that this is a great place for breakfast so off we went. We arrived and found parking easily and close by. The restaurant was fairly full but we quickly found a seat. The service was friendly and fast. We each had fairly standard breakfast fare like bacon and eggs and french toast. The food was properly cooked and served hot and fresh. The price was right. The restaurant was clean. Overall it was a good experience but the only real difference here is the fact that you get to see planes coming and going. Some are vintage aircraft and are fun to see.

Stopped in for crepes on a Sunday and was not disappointed. They offer a great appetizer menu in the evening as well. Good place to stop in before heading out on the town.

My husband and daughter ate at this restaurant and said how good it was, so I decided to try it out myself. They were right. Absolutely delicious food. I had the potato pizza and my husband had the pork belly from the harvest specials menu. He isn't a lover of cherry, so we substituted the cherry sauce for the red current reduction and it still paired really well. Kudos to or server, she was great. I had the drink special as well, so good.We ate inside because the patio was very busy.
